Now we want to crowdsource additional investment, not just crowdfund it. Therefore, despite being told that we could raise at a much higher valuation, we chose to price this round conservatively. The second is that our executive team has been around the block, and we've seen what happens when entrepreneurs over-value their companies—creating many problems down the line for future financings or exits.
