Enhance our Marketing and Advertising - Our approach to marketing and advertising will be spearheaded by an expert digital marketer, focusing on innovative campaigns that expand our digital footprint. Key initiatives include bolstering our email marketing efforts to grow our subscriber base and enhance customer retention, alongside promoting our monthly subscription services to ensure steady engagement and customer loyalty.

Broaden Our Product Line and Inventory - Responding to increasing consumer demand and emerging market trends, we are set to broaden our product offerings. This will involve introducing a wider variety of cat treats and expanding our range of nutritional, limited ingredient dog treats. Such developments will not only cater to current market needs but also position us to lead in innovative, healthy pet nutrition solutions.


As a young, black, female entrepreneur, I’m passionate about representation and advocacy. That's why I actively participate in the Black Pet Business Network and advocate for other minority-owned pet businesses. Always remembering that we’re not just selling treats—we’re building a community. We’ve launched initiatives like 'Pay What You Can' and 'Palace Paws' to ensure that all pets can enjoy healthy treats, regardless of their owner’s financial situation. And I love to speak with other young black girls about entrepreneurship and going for their dreams!

We’ve built something truly special at Ava's Pet Palace. As a family-run business, we've achieved impressive milestones—all without external capital and with a teenage boss :).
