Despite the continued improvement in security technology, security infrastructure continues to be limited by the security hygiene of its users. We rely on users to practice good security hygiene, rotate passwords properly, and to not fall prey to phishing attacks. Physical security tokens have certainly pushed this boundary; however, their complex setup and maintenance is frustrating even to a security professional. We need an authentication solution that extends past security professionals and technical workers. I need an authentication solution that I can recommend to local small business owners that is secure, and of equal importance, is easy to use. Cyber-security is my job; it should not need to be the machine shop next door's.

 
From what I have seen, Allthenticate is this solution. The Allthenticate team is built of top-tier security professionals and I look forward to watching their solution become more pervasive, and I am excited for the day I see it next door.
