At 10Below Ice Cream, we turn liquid cream to ice cream in under two minutes using a cold plate that reaches -10°F. Inspired by made to order ice cream on the streets of Thailand and artful, craft cocktails, we create an experience for ice cream aficionados with eclectic palettes.
10Below Has Two Profitable NYC Locations
Up until 2019, we had three profitable locations. We sold one, and this raise is for a fourth LLC owned by the same managing members, and using the 10 Below Ice Cream branding and social media. 10Below currently has a brick-and-mortar retail locations in Chinatown about 600 sq ft. The second location is a kiosk-style, 388 sq ft location in a Queens shopping mall.
Revenue per square foot of each store:
Across both store designs, we have relatively similar volumes of ice cream sold. Our kiosk-model is more profitable because our initial buildout costs and ongoing rental costs are significantly lower in a smaller space.
Our Progress So Far
We are using the funds for this raise to help launch our franchises. If we raise more than that, we'll intend to put the additional funds towards hiring, marketing, licensing/permits, packaging our ice cream for retail, re-branding, opening kiosks, and other purposes.
