Zach has a breadth of experience in business and investing. His education is in Engineering. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UCSB and a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He spent his early career as an engineer at Northrop Grumman where he was the lead of Mechanical Design Integration for the Airborne Laser (ABL) program. After 5 years as an engineer he began his calling to a more dynamic career path. He devoted the next 11 years to a career as a high-stakes professional poker player where he ascended to be one of the top respected pros in Los Angeles and amassed over 3 million dollars net earnings. Concurrently he worked with Run It Once poker training as an Elite-Tier pro to create over 50 hours of instructional video content for aspiring poker professionals. Zach has been an educated investor in Cryptocurrency since 2017. In 2020, he ended his poker career to transition to the high paced growth of Decentralized Finance (Defi). Zach launched Defi Gravity Investments, LP (DGI). DGI is a Defi blockchain hedge fund which invests in a portfolio of the most promising Defi Assets while earning additional yield off the value of those tokens by providing liquidity to Decentraililzed Exchanges (DEXs). Zach has a successful track record of identifying opportunities outside of traditional investments. He continuously looks to diversify his portfolio in promising opportunities.
