In March 2020, the founders launched a Facebook group called "Pandemic Product Sightings" in Memphis, Tennessee to crowdsource sightings of essential, in-stock products to keep families safe.
The group grew to 34,000 locals and needs expanded beyond pandemic products, like when people came together for baby formula and other shortages in 2022.
