Hi John, our goal is to build a successful, mass market brand that leads to the elimination of food waste from cacao farms around the world. Today we source our cacao fruit only in Ecuador, but if we are successful we hope to be able to help reduce food waste in other cacao producing countries. We are crafting Xoca to be more than a niche produced. Our goal is to appeal to a wide demographic by offering a functional beverage with significant benefit and exceptional taste.

The product price seems pretty high, do you see it going down as you scale up production?

Hi Jeremy, we don't have plans to reduce the retail price now, but we will have the ability to lower it in the future as we scale. And we will definitely investigate lowering the price at some point in order to expand our customer base. This will be an easy decision if we determine that the price/demand curve is non-linear. Still, even at $3 per can we believe we can expand sales significantly as our key competitors are also at $3 per can.

So glad you are upcycling a food waste product. Are you encouraging or sourcing from shade grown cacao farms? Shade grown is more regenerative farming technique which would align with your mission.

Hi Brian, thanks for the question! Up until now we have been sourcing from traditional, shade grown farms. However, going forward we will need to source from a wide variety of farms, not just shade grown. We will need to do this in order to scale and stay competitive on price. Additionally, food waste is an issue for all cacao farms in Ecuador, and some of the largest are open field farms. Hi William! Ultimately, your return on investment will depend on the financial performance of the company over time. This is difficult to predict, but our goal is to significantly increase the value of your shares over time. If you invest you will be a shareholder for as long as you want to own your shares. There is no time limit!
