Hi, I'm Hannah.

WYOMING CHRISTMAS CAROL is a classic Christmas family film, but is centered around the powerful themes of Family Reconciliation and the true meaning of Home, best expressed through Grace's mother’s dying phrase, "A family's never broken if they love each other well."

The main theme is home, and the recognition that home is not so much a physical place as the presence of people you love.

I am uniquely suited to tell this story, not only because of my story, but because my hometown has been so important to me. I was born and raised there, my Mom and sister are there, and my Father is buried there.

As Cody is the East Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, I grew up watching the town flood with tourists in the summer - and genuinely struggle in the winter.

I wrote this film specifically in the winter to pour into my town in its off-season - bringing production money to hotels, restaurants, and local workers.

I want to give back to the town that raised me.

Wyoming Christmas Carol is an independent Christmas Western feature film that explores themes of grief, family, reconciliation, and the healing power of music against the breathtaking backdrop of the Wyoming Rocky Mountains.

More than a movie, Wyoming Christmas Carol is a celebration of community, music, and the enduring power of hope. We invite you to join us in creating a high-quality, entertaining film designed to inspire audiences while showcasing the people, landscapes, and spirit of the West.

AT A GLANCE -

The story centers on Grace, a talented singer-songwriter who has been emotionally adrift since the tragic death of her mother.

The family’s historic dude ranch, a place filled with cherished memories, is now facing financial ruin. Grace has all but abandoned her musical aspirations, her grief leaving little room for dreams.

The film reaches into the honest journey we all have to take as life takes turns aside from what we had hoped. Through the unexpected grace of friendship and community, the film explores family reconciliation, finding the humanity in those from whom we’re different, and the transformative power of music.

Through the forging of friendships and the uplifting comfort of community, the film explores family reconciliation, the transformative power of music, our ability to find humanity in those different from ourselves, and love - echoing the message of Grace's mother's final words: "A family’s never broken if they love each other well".

Music. Redemption. The wonder of Christmas. The power of movies.

That's Wyoming Christmas Carol.
