Women's Venture Summit was built around a simple conviction: women founders need greater access to capital, and more women need opportunities to become the investors who provide it. For 13 years, WVS has brought those two sides of the venture table together.

What began as an annual gathering in San Diego has grown into a national community of founders, investors, ecosystem leaders, and advocates committed to changing who has access to capital and who gets to participate in building wealth through innovation.

Over that history, WVS has helped facilitate more than $200 million in fundraising for women-led companies and has created connections among hundreds of investment groups and thousands of changemakers.

But an annual Summit—even an extraordinary one—is still a moment.

I'm Dr. Silvia Mah. I've spent my career as an entrepreneur, an educator, and an ecosystem builder — and I've invested in more than 150 companies along the way.
