LA Climate Week is under way, and we hope you'll join the Hiking Buddies team for our panel, "CONSERVATION STARTERS: Sparking Conservation Conversations with Comedy Shorts," on Friday, April 11 from 3pm-4pm Pacific.

This free, online panel will discuss our Conservation Starters web series,  a web series designed to increase the conversation about conservation. Our goal is to present climate problems, not solutions--that's your job. This panel will focus on Episode 2: Pistachi-NO!, which acts as a prequel (and proof-of-concept) for this Hiking Buddies feature film. We'll even show a brief clip of the episode!

Actor/Writer/Creator Susan-Kate Heaney will talk with the Conservation Starters series creators, Tracy Held and Megan Morrison, about Megan's upcoming episode with director Katherine Vondy and cinematographer Leah Anova about their respective obsessions with litter and making independent films.
