FOUR DAYS LEFT!!!

Published on Apr 27

Hello, Everyone!

I am here running through the town square with a large bell, ringing as I go, to inform you all that we are CLOSING SOON!!

FOUR DAYS TO BE EXACT!!

I hope this update finds you all well. I have been buried away working, saving money, editing, and doing all that I can to make sure we finish strong. I wanted to let you all know that, as aforementioned, our campaign will come to a close in four days. Now is the last chance to support our project through WeFunder!

I want to use this time to let you know some important updates about our project. Andrew, my editor, and I have been locked away in our own personal castle (his apartment) editing the film for the past few months. Just recently, we were able to shoot some much wanted pickup shots (just some additional footage to enhance our nightmare sequences - spooky!!). We are now adding that footage into the film and continuing on with our final cut.

Additionally, we have been working closely with our composer to bring the music of the film to life. I am very excited for you all to hear what he has been doing. We have been sending the film to key industry professionals for advice and notes. We are so happy to say that the film has been met with positive results, and we are thrilled to make it EVEN BETTER! We are confident we have a special film on our hands.

In the coming months, we will continue building marketing materials and conversing with sales agents and distributors while we build our festival strategy. We are still securing the final pieces of financing as we hope for our film to have the best resources possible. Our goal in the next 4 months is to finish the film so that we can be ready for distribution and the festival circuit. This includes locking picture, finishing our original score for the film, and giving the film over to industry professional colorists and sound design teams. Securing finishing funds assures that we will be able to hire the best of the best!

While we aren't quite ready to announce where we hope to premiere our feature film, we can say that we are targeting prestigious international festivals to reach a worldwide audience. Submitting our film internationally opens our film to international markets, which could help maximize our ROI for our investors. Of course, we also plan on submitting to more national and local markets / festivals as well.

I will have a showing in my hometown, I promise!

I appreciate everyone who has shown our film love and support. This film took, and will take, and absolute village. And the village has shown up! We couldn't be more grateful for you.

Thank you for being a part of our journey, and I am very excited to soon bring you all THE RATTLIN' BOG!

Best,

Maxwell Klaiber
