Overplay

Overplay: Coming to a classroom near you! 📲🏫🎓

Published on Aug 29

It’s back-to-school season! We knew that Overplay would make its way into classrooms at some point…but we didn’t realize it would be this soon. Yesterday, Overplay was included as part the curriculum for an esports class at Iona University in New York! We were approached by the professor with the idea that, with Overplay, any academic subject can be turned into video games by teachers, students, and parents who can engage in their children’s education in a new way. Overplay makes learning fun and reinforces lessons through game creation, repetition via replay, and competition. What’s more is that Overplay is FREE to use and it’s no-code! This makes making interactive lessons totally accessible by EVERY teacher, student, and parent for the very first time. Overplay will be a game-changer for education.

And this is just the beginning! Overplay has been invited by Niagara University to give an hour-long workshop at the Virtual EdTech Expo happening next month. Educators are starting to see Overplay as a teaching tool that will foster a love of learning, and encourage critical thinking, creativity and collaboration. Further, Overplay will help educators integrate a more dynamic and interactive STEAM (Science, Technology Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum. Please share this event educators, parents, and professionals that you may know who are looking to enhance their teaching capabilities.

Some of you may know that Dan and I met at Sesame Street and have built careers developing awesome interactive learning products for kids. We are so excited that Overplay is being picked up by educators as the next big thing! This only further shows how much Overplay can and will be present in our everyday lives.

Join us in introducing Overplay to new audiences! We still have our Seed round open on Wefunder, where YOU can become an investor, bringing Overplay into the classroom and beyond. You can invest or increase your investment here: wefunder.com/overplay/invest

Let’s all make games for learning, too!
