This week's update: If you don't want to watch the entire video, here is what we're discussing. Watch the video if you want all of the details, as the breakdown below doesn't say everything.
- Our first-choice distribution partner gave us a "pass" on Calculated. They felt the script could be a bit stronger, but they didn't want to take up the task of strengthening it. So, what are we doing? We are strengthening the script at the same time that we are approaching other potential partners. The script is already in the hands of another distributor. Getting a "pass" or (not interested) is not the end of the world. It was only our first call, so we're on to the next.
- We're giving you the first looks of the pitch decks for our other projects. Hint: they're impressive and you'll only see that if you watch the video.
- Even though Mystreme is a separate entity, we're giving you an update on that project because we know there are a lot of crossover investors. The streaming platform is being developed very quickly and we have new updates already this week. Something called "hype lists" is the topic today. This is what really sets Mystreme apart from other aggregators of movie and TV content. How the platform presents to you is just as important as having the content.

Sorry to hear of the lack of interest on the part of your first choice of distribution partner, I feel they'll get to regret that decision but there you go. What with the delays due to the writers strike, will you provide another timeline for us to have a look at?
I'm very interested in upcoming projects too, especially Handel and Cyrus. Looking forward to the next update.
With investor partners like you, we can go the distance! Thank you for your faith and your encouragement, Catherine. The problem with a timeline is that, regardless of our making it, the fact remains that it is dependent upon human decisions. It's like dominos, but the dominos are people who make decisions. So we don't want to make a promise that one of the dominoes will take X amount of time to fall, when in fact it could take longer (or shorter). What we do know is that we have an incredible story, a powerful script, and solid pitch materials; and with these, we are approaching various co-production partners. Once the co-production partner domino falls, then they will take us with them into a studio to set Calculated on their release schedule, then the financing of the production, then production, post-production, and finally the release of the picture to the global theatrical market.
Thank you so much for your interest in Cyrus and Messiah. We are eager to begin raising development capital for these as well. You will be the first to know when this is available.
Is there a raise upcoming for some of the other film projects? I’m interested in investing in one of them.
Hello Stephen! Always good to hear about enthusiasm for our other projects!
We do plan to have other fund raises for several other projects, but can't say when. For now, we're heavily focused on getting Calculated into its production phase. Fundraising for our other projects comes with a lot of planning and groundwork, and we want to ensure that Calculated gets the time and attention it needs to go the distance.
Ty for the news. I'm interested in investing in the curdie project. How do I get involved in that?
Hello Edward,
Just answered Stephen's similar question above, but responding here as well to make sure you see it.
