MakeLoveNotPorn

Another milestone passed + why MLNP is telehealth for sex

Published on Mar 10

Dearest investors,

We’ve just passed $200k!  I and my MakeLoveNotPorn team are so, so grateful to all of you ❤️

I’m taking the opportunity with our investor updates to make you all aware of the business opportunity MakeLoveNotPorn represents across a number of different areas.

Last week, in my first investor update, I shared more detail about what this funding will enable us to build - our 0-18 and beyond sex education expansion, MakeLoveNotPorn Academy.

This week, I want to share with you the unique opportunity MLNP represents for the health and medical community.

As the world’s only window on to the wonderful sex we all have in the real world, MLNP is also the world’s only window on to how real world people manage their real world sex lives through real world health conditions.

MLNP is the only place where menopausal MakeLoveNotPornstars share how they are managing their sexuality and their partnered sex lives through the different impacts menopause brings.

MakeLoveNotPornstar Maia Leggott is reclaiming her body and her sex life following a hysterectomy, and sharing her experiences both in her #realworldsex videos on MakeLoveNotPorn, and in posts for our blog on Medium, here three months post hysterectomy, and then six months later.

MakeLoveNotPornstar Fern suffers from vaginismus, something estimated to affect 5-17% of women. She wants to help other women by sharing her own experiences and how she is addressing this on MLNP, per her Instagram post above.

On MLNP you will find MakeLoveNotPornstars who live with chronic pain and health conditions (orgasms help!), and older MakeLoveNotPornstars dealing with the issues age brings but ensuring those don’t inhibit their ability to #MakeOlderLoveNotPorn.

Equally, among our members we count cancer survivors who have regained sexual enjoyment and pleasure because of MLNP, per this lovely couple and this breast cancer survivor with a mastectomy.

This is important, because health and medical professionals struggle to address sexual issues, and prefer to ignore them completely in diagnosing and treating various health scenarios, when they matter so much to us all.

Which is why we call MLNP ‘telehealth for your sex life’; why we can be a useful educational resource for the medical profession; and why one of our exit opportunities for MLNP is in healthtech, as laid out in our investor deck posted here on WeFunder.

Please do reach out to and round up everyone in your network who will also see the opportunity in this and invest accordingly. Our next milestone is $250k - please help us get there asap! ❤️

Many thanks - Cindy and the MLNP team
