Black Momma Tea & Cafe

A year in review Black Momma Tea Café The year of Implementation!

Published on Feb 6, 2023

December 11, 2021, BMTC opened it’s doors to the public after Covid , Zoning Board and Use permit approvals, Fire department approval and detailed major Engineering and Construction of it’s 1st location.

  • Vanessa Braxton personally invested $110,000.00 for an equity stake as the largest single shareholder of Black Momma Tea & Café .   Making such an investment ensures Black Momma Tea & Café is not going anywhere and Vanessa Braxton is invested for the long term as an accredited investor.  Most Founders do not invest in their own Fund especially with a substantial amount of over 100K. So, rest and assure Vanessa is working 16 hours a day and continuously investing to build the foundation of this company as she did with the others.

Large Investments with High Risk has Large Rewards in the future.

This last year was the year of implementation, building the foundation of implementing processes and various revenue streams therefore, we are not dependent on one sector. That’s how you build, so we can see the short falls, voids and needs of the business, along  with what works to generate future residuals.

Once implemented then you build on top of it to evolve over time. Rome was not built in a day! This is not an overnight success! Slow and steady, patience and discipline wins.  That’s how you build a better brand and system.

I do the work and do not just talk about it! Just like any structure, if you do not build a solid foundation then you will have weak elements within the structure that will muck up over time.   Being a sophisticated investor is a privilege !

Busy spending  the last year training employees, traveling on 17 flights, scouting locations, working on existing BMTC acquisitions and partnerships the implementation is the beginning of a strong foundation.

Partnerships Solidified!

BMTC Now has an active Walmart Online Store and has setup a Walmart Partnership for fulfillment.

In addition, BMTC is waiting for Walmart approval to carry BMTC exclusive Tea Steepers, Tea, Coffee Brands in stores for 2023 Q4. (Fingers crossed)

BMTC now has Official Black Momma Tea and Café Branded store on Amazon, registered trademark approval was necessary for Amazon to approve.  Exclusive items will be sold which will be different on BMTC website in order to create customer diversification.

In addition, BMTC will create specific tangible products similarly to the Tea Steeper, in line with beverage equipment and merchandise for consumers at different price points for distribution.

BMTC is currently waiting for Target to approve online and in store supplier program, once approved we will setup specific products for Target marketed products.

Finally after long persistence BMTC is working on a custom online Specialty Store Marketplace Partnership with shopmyexchange.com

The online Army and Air Force Exchange Marketplace which has 1.7M registered customers including active duty, reserve, or retired U. S. military personnel, dependent family members, and others as authorized by the Department of Defense.

New Registered Agent KoreconX hired for new investors online portal instead of Computershare.

Koreconx has an Alternative Trading System for private market securities hosted by a FINRA registered broker-dealer and SEC recognized ATS.

  • Secondary Market in Private Equity allow CF unaccredited to sell and transfer shares to other private equity shareholders in the nonpublic market .
  • Investors will be able to login to Koreconx and see accounts online with features which includes adding Beneficiary information
  • Computershare platform was not economical for the use with smaller unaccredited shareholders, so we seeked and negotiated with Koreconx to provide online investor relations services and secondary market.
  • We are in the process of uploading data and testing in hopes by March 15th, 2023 the last implementation is completed and active by then. Investors are supposed to also communicate within the KoreConx platform, it's self serving. You can start downloading the app and set up an account with your own login and PW and once our process is completed everyone will be sent a link via email.
