Equity Investment Round

Hello Everyone, I spent between 70 and 80 hours working and re-working this video to try to improve where our first 2nd funding round video was falling short. I hope that you like this one much better. As with any new startup FUNDING is key so without funds things come to a crawl. We're doing our best to avoid that issue now that we have proper direction for the 400w units that can be shipped worldwide.

Please take a moment to share our link for us. We're doing everything we can to make Harmony Turbines successful and your help can go a long way. If you have any good contacts to share for Investors who may be interested, please send me a message or send them to our WeFunder page. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Let me know what you think of the new video and we'll see if it helps to breathe life back into our campaign!

Hi Chris So glad to see that you added the boat market. That's how I originally connected with Harmony Turbines. I was looking for a wind generator for a boat. Electric boats are starting to appear on the scene and although they can regen from the prop while sailing there is a real need for wind generation while on anchor. Also if you google windiest cities in the world you will see that St. John's (where I live) ranks between 3rd and 5th depending on the data source being used. So definitely a good place to test, and a good place to generate and sell electricity. You have your crowd funding to focus on now but when the timing is right we can discuss testing here (if that fits logistically) and the other topic I touched on in the last update. Carry on and as one of my own investors once said to me, if business was easy everyone would be doing it!!
Thank you Glynn ...it is my highest goal right now to keep things moving forward successfully with the company ...even if we have to start with limited options in the beginning ...at least it's a start and there is where our future begins! So to the future my friend; we march one step at a time.
Hi Chris, if your smaller version is tested, ready to be built and shipped to customers then open up the order books and get manufacturing. You may initially need to implement some of Henry Ford's marketing principles ie "you can have any colour your like , as long as its black" that is don't have too many options re colours etc as initially this just adds to cost. I can see the smaller unit as an add on to existing solar / battery storage systems producing electricity while ever the wind is available. Once you start to receive positive feedback from happy customers sales will skyrocket. Regards James
Hi James, yes that's the plan ...I'm even considering sending out the first "Mark I" units without furling capabilities just to get them out and producing so that people can give feedback. These reduced capability units would be sold for a reduced price but would allow us an even faster path to production. I am not set on this strategy but it is something I'm considering at this time. It depends on how well our Round 2 Equity Raise does at this point. So yes I may indeed take a page from old Henry's history book. :)
That was pretty good, I am a strong believer in your vision Chris
Thank you Patrick, there are always growing pains to any new venture. We learned, adjusted and are now heading in a direction that will allow us to easily manufacture and ship our products. I think that's a huge WIN-WIN. We're close we just need to get past a few more hurdles. -Startups are hard... very hard! :) Thank you for your support sir!
I missed the launch of the 400w units! I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform - both functionally and market-wise :).
Hi Ben, sorry if something was unclear ...we shifted away from the 1kW unit as our "Flagship" product and went with the 400w units instead. Easier to manufacture, ship, less expensive, etc... a number of good reasons. If you have time to talk I'm happy to do a video chat so you can see exactly where we're at. -Sorry for any confusion.
Very excited that marketable turbines are moving forward. Small and full-scale turbines would be great on Puerto Rico, Hawai'i, Gaum, or any island off the coast. Just think of having power after a major storm. I can imagine a time when new homes will come complete with solar an wind power. I'll be posting this link.
Thank you Debra, by focusing on the smaller 400w units that we can easily ship we have a much clearer path forward. Once we have moved into production and sales begin to spread our name then we will look at working on other larger sizes as other revenue streams. For now we have to stay focused on small and easily manufactured units for the masses.
great video. but there is no link to invest
Hi Mark, it's the same video as the one on WeFunder so on YouTube and Facebook, I have the link in the description for people. I also run paid ads on both platforms that when they click the video LEARN MORE link, it takes them to our WeFunder page.
I like the regular updates. This makes sense to me as one in the mix of vertical wind turbines, which have esthetic and practical advantages over horizontal models. I have to disagree with one comment today. Invention and commercialization is a learning experience, and Harmony is willing to adapt with changing circumstances.
Thank you Steve, perhaps you can consider jumping over from follower to investor for us? We could really use the support!
Excellent - A great way to explain the concepts, principles, options, and opportunities for Harmony Turbines. Well done Chris!
Thank you Bob. I'm glad you liked it. If we can get the campaign moving forward with investments the next steps toward production of the smaller 400w units "Mark I" units should be a very straightforward process and I love that we will be able to send them out in standard packaging. That's a huge step in the right direction.
They have not been looking out for investors. They wasted their last round on a product that was too big and expensive for the market. I will not be adding more.
Hello Peter thank you for your investment; it might be helpful if you could share your investment amount with the group so they can understand just how much weight your opinion carries. As to your comment: We have wasted nothing. In fact I challenge you to find any startup who has done as much as we have with prototype and manufacturing capabilities for 10x the cost. We built our entire prototype shop for about $120k ...fully functional sir and ready to produce as soon as we're done development. Mistakes, dear Peter, are part of any new company growth. If a company tells you otherwise, they are lying to you. Our 1kW unit was a learning experience and I'm confident that it will go into production when the time is right. But that time is not now for our initial product. By being agile and responsive to our financial capabilities and the needs of our investors we're adjusting our strategy toward a more easily manufactured (and more importantly) easily SHIPPED product that can go anywhere in the world in a simple box. Peter if you see fault in that strategy than something is terribly misaligned between us.
Very nicely done !
