The Denver Nuggets entered the postseason as the No. 2 seed, but their first-round matchup against the seventh-seeded San Antonio Spurs has given them all they can handle. Denver dropped two of the first three games of the series, but has battled back to take a 3-2 lead.

Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic continued his near-triple-double series average with 16 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in 32 minutes en route to a 108-90 Game 5 win. The Spurs, who were led by 17 points apiece from stars LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan in the losing effort, will now head home and try to stave off elimination in Game 6 on Thursday.
