Hello Pim, I am part of the company actually. We don't delete comments and your comment is visible here, so don't worry. I don't see you as a buyer, so I don't know your order status. If you have placed an order, can you please email us with the name used on the order? If there are any issues, we will help sort them out for you. Our email is info@travelmaterobotics.com
So with the $100 Investment offering only 50 shares what is the possibility amount of a profit for the $100 investors?

Hi Cedric, You would get the same type of return and shares value. The shares valuation is the same, regardless of the amount of shares. If you invest a higher amount, then of course you stand to gain a larger ROI (as well as bonuses for certain amounts). I can give you an example: the people who first invested 1000 dollars into apple or google, are really rich right now. My goal is for our investors to have the same type of results!
Hello, it is an interesting project, however it would be good to have a document or listen numbers of how many shares we get for each investment. You just mention t-shirts, coupons, etc. But it would be more attractive if we can see how many shares to predict the returns. $250+ — $1500+ — $2,500+ — $5,000+ — $10,000+ — $50,000+ — Thank you

Hi Anete, sure thing. You just need to divide the amount invested by 2 in order to get the shares amount. This would be as follows: 125, 750, 1250, 2500, 5000 and 25,000.
Max, thanks for your response, but perhaps the key point I was asking went unanswered: how much of your deferred revenue liability is from perks owed from past raises, and how much is from actual revenue generating orders? Of the orders, is there a risk of cancellation if you don’t deliver by a certain date? Considering your balance sheet shows you have not $1 of inventory (not even a spare wheel or suitcase shell laying around?) It seems like any customer prepaying for a future order would have some time expectation before being able to walk away, so curious how much of the “deferred revenue” will ultimately end up as revenue, if any. And again, as your financials say you have no inventory in any state, assuming you have a successful raise here, how long until the liabilities from past raises are satisfied so you can start generating revenue? Thanks!

All the initial inventory items were included in the total amount of the 'Cost of Goods Sold' (Financials report). In particular, it includes the previously paid price for the inventory necessary to produce pilot mass manufacturing samples previously shipped to some key distributors, backers and clients. This includes molds, tooling, testing equipment, PCBA components and mechanical items. The R&D expenses were also included in the total amount of the 'Cost of Goods Sold'. We have a complete supply and assembly chain for the mass production of the product. To make the product more cost effective, the MOQ for the key components (PCBA & mechanical items etc.) necessary for complete assembly of Travelmate robots should be at least 3000 units. Buying this inventory will allow us to ship to distributors via container and will allow us to fulfill pent up demand for the product. The revenue from the sales of these 3000 units would be enough to fulfill the past raise's obligations and start the generation of sufficient additional revenue. As sooner as we raise enough funds to fulfill order demand, we plan to expand our assembly capabilities and our supply chain. The rate of expansion is contingent on the amount of funds that we have available. We plan to make a minimum of 5k units per month and then expand gradually from there.
I don't see my investment of $500 on Travelmates Robotics. It shows on my portfolio but not the in the Wefunder page.

This is more of a stating a comment rather than asking a question. I am totally surprised that @Maximillian is still monitoring, answering questions and resolving issues well after the closure of this funding round....doesn't seem like a scam to me! Actually I am trying to find out if there will be any other funding rounds....so that I can invest more as well as invite others to invest! Again thanks for sharing your brilliant mind, ideas and vision with the world. I'm sure that these (suitcases, golfing caddies, coolers, and future medical devices) products in the pipeline along with partnership with automakers will have all Travelmate Robotic investors laughing all the way to the bank!

Thanks for the kind words and support Terrance!
This is more a comment of appreciation to Maximillian Kovtun than a question. Having read many of the Q&A below, I am impressed with you taking the time to answer all the questions so completely and patiently. We apologize for taking so much of your valuable time in this most important transition period. I'm very thankful for your updates.

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
What is the price of the suitcase for investors? Do investors get a special discount? Does the company have any exits planned? Is the company planning to go public? Will the investors be notified when the company goes public? After this round is over how long will it be before investments are finalized. Thanks

This depends on the investment amount. You get shares in the company if you invest between 100-250 dollars. If you invest 250 dollars or more, then you get a discount of 250 dollars for any of our robots (now and for future products). There are also additional perk discounts if you invest above certain amounts, and those are visible on our wefunder page. We plan on doing an accredited investors' raise after this current raise. Afterwards, we are planning on doing an IPO after a year. Your investment is finalized as soon as your payment is confirmed. You automatically become a partner in our business and we'll send stock certificates to all of our investors after this raise ends.
Hello! Questions for you: 1. How do you anticipate the suitcase's hardware being able to withstand being thrown around by baggage handlers and/or perhaps being in storage for months at a time between trips? 2. You mentioned in the video that investors would have the opportunity to purchase a suitcase for $399, however you speak to % off at certain investor levels. Can you please clarify how one would purchase a suitcase for $399? 3. How many suitcases have actually been manufactured thus far? 4. How did you come to your price points on the different sizes available on the website? Are you worried the prices are too expensive for the average consumer? What are % of sale price is direct costs to manufacture the product?

Hi Peter, to answer your questions: 1. There is no issue with storing the device for months at a time. We provide a 2 year full warranty against any defects. The inside of the suitcase has another secure plastic shell, to help keep everything in place. We know how rough baggage handlers can be, so we did our best to safeguard against fall damage. It is also water resistant on both the outside and inside. So if you want to put some ice and some beer inside, then have it follow you, then you can certainly do that :). 2. This is from our indiegogo, which had a promotional price 2 years ago for early backers. 3. A bit more than 400 as of now. 4. The pricing is competitive and is cheaper than many rimowa and tumi suitcases. Those examples are not robots and are just normal suitcases. You must also consider that when we sell in bulk to distributors, we give them the distribution price and not the retail price, so our margin is lower there. The demand is clearly there, as we are sold out of stock on our website and the focus is to scale up our manufacturing towards making at least 5k units per month. This will enable us to take on larger orders for interested distributors. The cost to manufacture info is on our campaign page.
Can you give me like a brief overview of your business model? The product is amazing, but how do you translate that into sales?

Our conservative estimate is that there is demand for at least 1 million robot suitcases based on market conditions and expressed interest from companies. Currently, we're the only robotic suitcase on the market that is allowed on all airlines and our movement system is patented. We believe that we can meet this demand by expanding our manufacturing capabilities to start producing at least 5,000 units per month and expanding further from there. With this, we can tap into our existing user base of interested distributors around the world to take full advantage of this new market. As an example, if we sell upwards of 10 million units (this amounts to over 10 billion dollars in revenue), you would still only see one or two robotic suitcases at any given time at international airports. This speaks to the vast scope of international travel. There are over 4.7 billion travelers every year on flights around the world. . Travelmate is priced competitively with other luggage products, being cheaper than Tumi and Rimowa luggage. With that in mind, our product's functionality is obviously much greater, with it being a robot assistant that moves on its own. Our robot also features a very unique design that is instantly recognizable. The design alone separates it immensely from other suitcases on the market.
