Memo

The Hybrid Advantage and Unit Economics TrailerVault is a logistics technology company headquartered in Chattanooga’s "Freight Alley," dedicated to disrupting the $22B moving and storage industry through superior asset utilization. Unlike traditional incumbents like U-Haul or PODS, which suffer from massive "deadhead" miles and idle inventory, our platform rotates a single tech-enabled containerized asset across three high-margin revenue streams: Managed Hauls, Customer-Led DIY, and Local Utility Rentals. This hybrid model transforms the trailer from a simple tool into a high-yield financial asset, achieving an industry-leading payback period of less than eight months. With a net contribution of approximately $900 per month per unit and a ten-year equipment lifespan, every dollar of capital invested in our fleet creates a decade of recurring, high-margin revenue.

Technological Moat and Scalable Vision Our competitive advantage lies in a proprietary "Drop-and-Redirect" backend logic that automates the lifecycle of a national one-way rental network. By utilizing dynamic market balancing and automated hyper-local ad triggers, our system identifies high-demand nodes and "re-loads" assets the moment they touch a destination yard, effectively eliminating the costs associated with empty return trips. This round will transition TrailerVault from "Code to Road," funding the acquisition of our initial 25-unit fleet and establishing our first regional logistics triangle between Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville. We aren't building a moving company; we are building the intelligent infrastructure for the future of specialized rentals, ensuring that no trailer in our network ever sits idle or travels empty.
