Tactical Edge Entertainment was founded to fill that gap. Black Protocol is our debut feature, but it is not our ceiling. The action-thriller genre is one of the most reliable performers at the box office and on streaming platforms globally. Films centered on law enforcement, military operations, and tactical intelligence consistently drive strong theatrical runs, premium streaming deals, and long international tails. The audience skews broad — men and women, ages 18–54 — and they consume this content across every platform.
What separates Tactical Edge Entertainment from the existing field is creative identity. A production company fully committed to female-led action films — authentically produced, with women driving both the story and the production — occupies a position in this genre that virtually no one has staked out at the independent level. That is not a risk. That is an opportunity.
Black Protocol is not an idea waiting to become a project. It is a project ready to become a film. The poster is locked. Cast direction is set. Core crew is anchored. What this raise does is straightforward: it puts the production into motion. Every dollar invested goes directly toward bringing Black Protocol to screen — and establishing Tactical Edge Entertainment as the studio that delivers on its promise.
This is a preferred equity investment: you own a stake in the film alongside us, and you are prioritized to be paid back before we participate in profits.
Proceeds flow through a simple waterfall. Investors recoup 120% of their invested capital out of the film's proceeds, meaning your full principal plus a 20% preferred return. After that 120% has been returned, investors continue to receive a pro-rata share of 50% of all remaining proceeds, with the other 50% going to the production, and that participation continues as the film keeps earning across its release windows.
A film generates revenue from several streams over time, including theatrical box office, home entertainment and digital sales, streaming and television licensing, and international distribution, and every one of those streams flows through the same structure described above.
