Most beverage companies start with an idea.

Soul Hum started with a question.

What if the future of drinking wasn't about what people were giving up—but what they were choosing instead?

That question came from one of the most difficult seasons of my life. After navigating profound heartbreak, trauma, and ultimately finding my own path through sobriety, I realized I wasn't simply walking away from alcohol. I was searching for a different way to celebrate, connect, unwind, and still wake up feeling like myself.

That journey led me to open Hummingbird Heart, a non-alcoholic bottle shop, elixir bar, and apothecary in Southern Oregon.

I believed I was creating a place for people who wanted an alternative to alcohol.

What I discovered was something much bigger.

Every day we met people who were changing the way they lived. Some were sober. Others were sober-curious. Some were athletes focused on recovery. Others simply wanted to feel better without giving up the experience of sharing a drink with friends.

They weren't looking for "something without alcohol."

They were looking for something worth choosing.

Operating Hummingbird Heart gave us something that very few beverage companies ever have before launching a product: a front-row seat to thousands of real customer conversations.

We didn't rely on focus groups or market surveys.

We watched purchasing decisions happen every single day.

We learned which products customers loved, which ones they left on the shelf, what they wished existed, and what kept them coming back.

Those years of listening became the foundation for Soul Hum.

We didn't create another alcohol alternative.

We set out to create a premium functional beverage people would reach for because it made them feel good—not because it was missing something.

Today, consumers are redefining what they drink. They're looking for beverages that fit their lives, support their wellness, and elevate everyday moments without compromise.

We believe that shift is still in its early chapters.

Since launching Soul Hum, we've built the company the same way we've built everything else: patiently, intentionally, and one relationship at a time.

Without outside investment, we've developed our formulations, completed multiple production runs, expanded into more than 60 wholesale accounts, secured placement with Total Wine & More, launched on Amazon, and built a growing business fueled by customers who continue to come back for more.

Every one of those milestones was achieved before raising outside capital.

We didn't raise money to prove there was demand.

We proved demand first.

Now we're raising because we believe we've reached an inflection point.

Our ready-to-drink product line is preparing to launch. Our retail footprint continues to grow. Consumer demand for premium non-alcoholic and functional beverages continues to expand. The opportunity in front of us is significantly larger than what we can pursue through bootstrapping alone.

This investment will allow us to increase production, expand sales, strengthen marketing, grow national retail distribution, and bring Soul Hum to more consumers who are actively looking for a better way to drink.

But what excites me most isn't simply growing a beverage company.

It's helping shape an entirely new category.

For generations, alcohol has been the default way people celebrated, relaxed, and connected.

Today, millions of people are writing a different story.

They're choosing wellness without sacrificing ritual.

Connection without compromise.

Celebration without regret.

We believe the brands that understand this shift will define the next generation of beverage.

Our ambition is for Soul Hum to be one of them.

We're still at the beginning of this journey, but we've already demonstrated that consumers are looking for something different. Now our challenge isn't proving the concept—it's scaling it.
