How do you justify your valuation without any sales?

We expect our investors to take a long-term view at where we can be ten years from now. Why no discount rate?

I'm assuming you are referring to a discount on the SAFE. None of our existing investors have a discount rate and it's the first time we are being asked for one. It's just not something we offer at this stage.

What patents or elements of the technology are you in control of?

At this point we cannot disclose too much in public about our IP. We are currently working with a renowned Silicon Valley patent attorney. However, ShapeScale has multiple patentable aspects including our software algorithms, software user experience, scanning tech, and mechanical design.
