Our Team

Pitch

Wise Assistant is a monetization platform that helps local social media influencers build businesses.

First, we connect influencers and brands for collaborations. Driving viral brand awareness and sales. Saving money for influencers and creating content that authentically promotes local brands.

Next, we simplify the influencer's marketing stack. Reducing the number of complex applications required to grow. With one place to build web pages, collect payments, and launch campaigns - enriched by deep insights,

Lastly, we inspire influencers with community building. Hosting local networking events and educational programs. Equipping influencers with the knowledge to stay ahead of the algorithms. All while making lifelong friends.

Foodies, travelers, or event promoters are our best friends.

Our growth

We have been working on Wise Assistant since 2020 but publicly launched our influencer portal in 2022.

As of writing this, we have 1,0XX users and added 50 paying customers in the last 6 weeks. We have 6 PR Agency partners and a growing network of 60 brands - but more on that in a little bit.

We charge $17 for a Silver membership and $34 for a Gold membership.

Our investors

In December 2020, Wise Assistant joined forces with Sage Partners, a startup advisor group based out of San Francisco, California.

Collectively, the Sage Partners, in addition to the family of the founders, have invested a total of $200,000 to get the product and business to where it is today.

Our intention is to build our platform to be Venture capital material by late 2023 and we've got an exciting roadmap for how to get to that position.

Why are we crowdfunding? Three reasons:

First, we’ve built a strong community around Wise Assistant. We want to get our influencers more involved in our business while enjoying the upsides of our future success.

Second, we’ve received a lot of support from friends and family over the years. Crowdfunding on WeFunder allows smaller investors to get in on our wins without having to be accredited investors.

Third, we want to move faster to attain all the opportunities that are on the ground. We need more engineers and marketers to support our operations.

Once we’re profitable, we plan to pay our investors a dividend. ConvertKit’s example in this regard. See our FAQ for more details.

The Wise Assistant platform

The Wise Community is structured as a membership organization with distinct local chapters. Our members self-organize events and share resources, led by democratically elected Local Chapter Committees the represent their community.

Members are organized into different membership statuses: Wise, Wise Pro Blue, Wise Pro Silver, and, soon, Wise Pro Gold. Each tier of membership receives its own level of service and product features.

While we intend to launch a mobile application in early 2023, our platform is currently a web-based application. Our members can log in from any web browser to check their membership status and access the marketing suite.

Marketing collaboration opportunities are delivered over email or text message to our members and scheduling is supported by a member of our team. The rest of the marketing suite features can be accessed from the web application itself.

Opportunities marketplace.

Influencers are connected with agencies and brands for collaboration opportunities. Our matching algorithm considers the preferences submitted by our influencers and matches them with the preferences set by brands when submitting a campaign in our portal.

Landing page builder.

Influencers can easily build landing pages to collect contact information from their customers, promote products or services, and to give their audience a way to learn more about their brand. Landing pages are developed easily with pre-built templates and can be customized with a variety of marketing elements.

SMS campaign builder.

Influencers can quickly and easily deploy SMS and MMS marketing campaigns to directly connect with their audience. In the future, SMS campaigns can be scheduled, customized, and automated using keyword prompts to create conversational experiences between influencers and their audiences at scale.

Influencer storefront.

Influencers can easily collect payments and sell products or services using the storefront. Products can be developed with Wise Assistant or attached to a storefront as a digital download, calendar booking, and more. In the future, the storefront will automate follow-up and allow influencers to offer payment plans for their customers.

Our team

Wise Assistant was founded by Michael Diego, after he took a yearlong work abroad deployment traveling around the world between 2018 and 2019. While Michael had an opportunity to create content, he struggled with finding a community to support him and the necessary resources he needed to become an influencer.

Michael has worked in marketing agencies and on corporate marketing teams, so he’s very familiar with the influencer market. While working on cloud computing products at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Michael developed the skill set necessary to manage developers and deliver technical products.

Kevin Hawkins, Nattawod Satee, Ryan Brandt, and Zane Harris would join the founding team, along with founding influencer Imani Guillory.

What’s next

Check our roadmap for a full list of features we’re working on. Our focus is guided by our intent to build a platform that values wit, openness, and collaboration among all else.

Our vision is to break down the barriers for any creative person looking to become a social media influencer. We’ll remain laser-focused on building features for influencers in the food, travel, and events spaces.

We have lively private groups for our members in Houston and Atlanta and we intend to create another private group for our investors as well.
