BOLD STORIES. BIG RETURNS. BACK THE NEXT LGBTQ HIT
Highlights
Our Founder
Filmed on location. Rooted in reality. Made with heart.
Some Kind of Wonderful is an LGBTQ+ comedy series centered on four gay men navigating love, friendship, and life in Palm Springs. It’s heartfelt, funny, and refreshingly real — a story about chosen family, later-in-life reinvention, and celebrating our community with humor and heart.
We filmed a short-form pilot that screened at over 35 festivals and won more than a dozen awards, starring Greg Louganis, Pandora Boxx (RuPaul’s Drag Race), and Ann Walker (Sordid Lives). Now, we’re raising funds to produce a brand-new pilot and the full first season — all shot on location in Palm Springs.
We’re offering a 2x revenue share model, meaning early investors will receive double their investment from future revenue, including streaming, licensing, and more. Whether you’re passionate about authentic LGBTQ+ stories or looking for a smart indie opportunity, this is your chance to support a bold and beautiful series from the ground up

💸 Use of Funds
Our goal is to raise $150,000 to produce a brand-new pilot and full first season of Some Kind of Wonderful, all filmed in Palm Springs with a lean, experienced team. Here's how the funds will be used:
- Production (Filming, Cast, Crew) – $60,000
- Post-Production (Editing, Music, Sound Design) – $30,000
- Marketing & Promotion (Festivals, PR, Social Media) – $25,000
- Distribution & Delivery (Packaging, Submission, Materials) – $10,000
- Contingency & Miscellaneous – $25,000
We’re creating this series with a budget-conscious approach that maximizes quality while honoring our community-driven mission. If we exceed our goal, additional funds will enhance production value, expand our reach, and help secure top-tier distribution.
🚀 Stretch Goals
If we surpass our $150,000 goal, we’ll use the additional funds to elevate Some Kind of Wonderful even further. Every dollar beyond our initial target allows us to:
- 🎥 Enhance production value with upgraded gear, set design, and expanded locations
- 🌟 Attract high-profile guest stars and boost casting flexibility
- 📢 Expand our marketing campaign across streaming platforms, media outlets, and LGBTQ+ festivals
- 🎬 Create behind-the-scenes content and bonus materials for early supporters and investors
- 🌍 Pursue international distribution opportunities and partnerships
Exceeding our goal not only helps us deliver a more polished, widely seen series — it also increases the potential for return on investment through streaming, licensing, and brand collaborations.
Let’s dream bigger, together.
