Raeva: Turning wearable data into predictive personal health insights

The Elevator Pitch

Globally, over 640 million people use smart fitness wearables to track activity, heart rate, sleep, and more. Yet when emotional shifts or physical burnout occur, they are under-informed with non-actionable historical data. Raeva fixes that by overlaying all wearable datasets to deliver personalized daily forecasts that help users predict emotional and physical events before they happen and take preventive action.

1. The Story & The Problem

Most fitness wearables leave users over-tracked but under-informed:

  1. Data is siloed: There is no way to overlay data from multiple wearables or see a holistic view of the interplay between sleep, movement, heart rate, and mental well-being.
  2. Data is reactive, not predictive: Historic charts show what happened yesterday, but fail to forecast what to expect today.

Raeva was born out of personal experience. A senior product design leader in medtech and a neurodiverse fitness enthusiast, founder Liz Hixon experienced firsthand how overwhelming biometric graphs can be when navigating wellness journeys. She created Raeva to bridge the gap between complex health data and intuitive, preventive action.

2. Market Opportunity & Growth

Raeva sits at the convergence of personal health sovereignty, machine learning-empowered personalization, and a rapidly expanding global market:

  1. Total Addressable Market (TAM): $38.4B (640M global wearable users × $59.99/yr full feature price).
  2. Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM - MVP): $2.07B (~45M active Garmin Connect users globally × $45.99/yr MVP price).
  3. Expansion Phase 2 SAM: $8.28B as support expands to Apple Watch, Fitbit, and Oura (~138M users × $59.99/yr).
  4. Market Growth & CAGR: Fitness tracker adoption is surging globally, led by the USA market growing at a 24.45% CAGR ($84.68B in 2026 to $486.6B by 2034), Europe (19.18% CAGR), and APAC (23.44% CAGR).

3. Product, Science, & Competitive Advantage

Raeva delivers Just-In-Time-Adaptive-Interventions (JITAIs), converting biometric trends into real-time mitigating suggestions:

  1. Near Clinical-Grade Accuracy: ML models leveraging wearable biometric data can predict bipolar manic/hypomanic episodes with up to 98% accuracy, panic attacks 7 days in advance with 92% accuracy, and illness 1–5 days in advance with 72–78% accuracy.
  2. Symptom Mitigation: 64% of users experience significant symptom reduction when engaging in mitigating behaviors (like 30 minutes of morning light exposure or climbing 9 flights of stairs).
  3. Multimodal Context: Allows logging non-wearable tracked data (alcohol, injury, illness, prescriptions) to refine prediction accuracy.

4. Business Model & Roadmap

  1. Revenue & Pricing:
  2. Tier 1 (MVP): $6.99/month or $45.99/year.
  3. Tier 2 (Post-2027): $8.99/month or $59.99/year as additional integrations go live.
  4. Distribution: Initial direct-to-consumer (DTC) launch via the App Store, expanding into corporate wellness platforms and insurers post-2027.
  5. Product Roadmap:
  6. MVP: Garmin integration, daily mood & physical forecasting, customized suggestions.
  7. Phase 2: Multi-wearable integration (Apple Watch, Fitbit, Oura).
  8. Phase 3: Advanced physical/mental health goals + EHR integrations.
  9. Phase 4: Dedicated women’s health support (hormone cycle tracking, menopause, chronic conditions).

5. The Team

  1. Liz Hixon | Founder & UX Lead: Senior product design leader pioneering user experiences in medtech. Bridges the gap between complex physiological data and intuitive design systems.
  2. Terry Lee | Strategic Technical Advisor: 30+ years in bioinformatics and healthcare systems with multiple data processing patents. Former CTO at KooPrime and Principal Software Engineer at Noggin.
  3. Kenneth Kostrešević | Technical Officer: Full-stack Elixir engineer specializing in reliable, scalable backend infrastructure to process complex biometric data.
