“As a construction professional, I understand the importance of establishing a robust foundation for success. This principle resonates deeply with my support for O'Ryan Health, an organization dedicated to empowering patients and families through enhanced healthcare access. The current medical research paradigm often presents significant obstacles, particularly for families managing chronic conditions. “I invested in O'Ryan Health because of the revolutionary way they bring access to participating in medical research studies for children. No longer do children with chronic health conditions need to travel to academic research institutions, miss more school, time with their friends, and the financial burden it adds to their families in order to participate in a clinical study. When more people can participate, more data can be collected and cures will become possible. O'Ryan is a key component to ending the childhood chronic disease epidemic in this country.”

We believe in rewriting the rules!

O'Ryan Health is on a mission to revolutionize pediatric accessibility to research and healthcare through at-home blood sampling. With O'Ryan Health, the process is simple: kids stay in the comfort of their own homes and sample their capillary blood. It is scheduled for pick up on their behalf, and results are provided by way of a comic book. Yes, you read that correctly. Our process makes kids, Superhero Scientists of their health.

We are empowering the future of individual pediatric research and care!

Our team, with expertise in molecular biophysics, genomic analysis, healthcare sales, healthcare logistics, supply chain, and scientific illustration, is leading innovation in at-home pediatric blood sampling solutions.  Combined with our strategic partnerships with YourBio Inc, Simplify Genomics, and IMYOO, O'Ryan Health is rewriting the rules around how a blood sample can be procured painlessly without leaving their home.

While our expert team is dedicated to redefining at-home blood sampling, our superhero characters, inspired by our young patients, make the process fun and empowering.

Ryan, our very first Superhero Scientist, suffers from an autoimmune disease that causes her to miss school at least 3-4 days a month during a flare, endless IVIG infusions, and several doses of methotrexate to calm symptoms.

O'Ryan Health was built to make flares a thing of the past, starting with Ryan. Our Artemis platform harnesses single-cell RNA sequencing and genomic mapping to provide direct communication with the immune system to replace guessing with precision.

The Artemis platform is a cutting-edge informatics and logistics solution that enables families to provide high-quality blood samples from home. It seamlessly delivers blood and participant information to labs, allowing them to generate critical data—from metabolites, proteins, DNA, and RNA—previously unattainable, enabling precision diagnostics and driving innovation for researchers, physicians, and life sciences companies.

Don't just take our Founder's word—meet the real superheroes powered by the O'Ryan Health Artemis Platform.

Blood draws, responsible for 70% of medical decisions, are still performed as they were in the 1900s—for diagnostics, monitoring, and symptom treatment.

Blood draws still trigger fear and anxiety, driven by the anticipation of pain and the sight of a needle.

This fear can profoundly affect children, with 27% of 2–8-year-olds and 40% of 9–18-year-olds needing blood draws to manage chronic conditions.

Other companies focus on mobile phlebotomy, smaller needles, or numbing agents, missing the bigger picture: the blood draw itself is only a fraction of the problem.

A problem that O'Ryan Health through the Artemis Platform is solving:

  1. We keep families in their homes;
  2. We keep kids in their superhero pajamas;
  3. We keep families from traveling unnecessarily to a clinic for labs; and
  4. Most importantly, we keep the anxiety and fear of needles away with a painless at-home blood sampling process.

At O'Ryan Health, we work directly with families to procure critical data previously unattainable for physicians, researchers, and life sciences companies. Acting as the bridge in a B-B-C value chain, our Artemis Platform provides precise insights into pediatric chronic conditions, delivering metabolites, blood proteins, DNA, and RNA. This data empowers biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic companies to drive innovation, enabling physicians to monitor and manage indications better.

O'Ryan Health has the potential to address a critical gap in pediatric care by transforming blood data collection, which informs 70% of medical decisions yet remains outdated and inefficient. With chronic conditions impacting 27% of children aged 2–8 and 40% of those 9–18, there is an urgent need for a solution like our painless, at-home blood sampling to improve data quality, enhance diagnosis, and reduce system inefficiencies. If fully realized, this model could create immense economic value: $5–10 billion annually in provider savings from fewer hospitalizations and misdiagnoses, $2–5 billion for life sciences companies through accelerated R&D, and $15–20 billion by improving chronic care management. These transformative benefits position O'Ryan Health as a key player in reshaping the $13 billion pediatric blood sampling market and advancing innovation in pediatric research and care.

Case Study: Supporting Simplify Genomics’ clinical whole genome sequencing through O'Ryan Health’s Artemis Platform delivers significant economic value in pediatric chronic care. By combining high-quality blood sampling with whole genome sequencing, we enable precision diagnostics, accelerate time to diagnosis, and reduce costly trial-and-error treatments. Faster identification of genetic disorders can save $10,000–$30,000 per patient and, system-wide, integration of genome sequencing could save hundreds of millions annually while driving research and targeted therapies for previously untreatable conditions.

Not only is O'Ryan Health redefining at-home blood sampling, but we're also rewriting the rules on pediatric clinical research participation!

O’Ryan Health's unique value lies in its commitment to making children and parents the primary drivers of innovation in autoimmune disease research. Our innovative process, enabled by a virtual backbone of informatics, allows us to onboard young "Superhero Scientists" and extend our reach to every household in the lower 48 US states.

This logistical capability is the core attribute of our value proposition, facilitating efficient and painless home-based sample collection for autoimmune disorders and beyond.

By shifting the focus away from traditional research institutions, which have often been unable to provide cures, O’Ryan Health empowers families to actively participate in and gain insights into their children's health. Our approach bridges a crucial gap in pediatric healthcare through an interactive platform that integrates virtual screening and enrollment, the mailing of study kits, home blood collection, sample return to a central lab, gene expression analysis, and the delivery of a digital immune avatar report.

This comprehensive, child-centric model fosters a collaborative environment where parents and children contribute directly to scientific advancements. It democratizes research and ensures that it is aligned with the needs and experiences of those most affected by pediatric chronic conditions.

O'Ryan Health Pediatric Superheroes are guided by eight animated superhero scientists.

Children learn about their health in an engaging and empowering way. These characters will answer questions and be the main guides as a child learn more about their immune system and any disease they may encounter. As this journey unfolds, each update on their Immune Avatar gives insights into their body's unique battles, making them active participants in a quest for health. This immersive experience not only empowers our young superheroes but also provides crucial data to advance the understanding of autoimmune diseases. By combining scientific discovery with a narrative of heroism and resilience, O’Ryan Health is dedicated to providing a nurturing, informative, and transformative experience, aiming to turn the tide in the fight against autoimmune disorders and restore the joy of childhood.

The future of Pediatric at-home blood draw is here. O'Ryan Health has rewritten the rules and is deploying the concept in real time with our very own team of Superheroes.
