I've known Jason Niosi, the Founder/CEO, for the past 12 years. First, as colleagues in the company I was running and later stayed in touch becoming friends. Jason first shared the initial concept of OCDfeat with me over a cup of coffee during the early days of COVID. It was borne out of his deep frustration as the parent of a child coping with OCD and a medical system that's not equipped with the appropriate tools to help therapists consistently monitor patient homework between sessions. Clear to me at that early stage was Jason's intense passion to fix this lived experience. He just couldn't let this go. Equally compelling was the long-term business opportunity. The need for behavioral health treatment is growing. And there's a shortage of therapists to meet that need. OCDfeat's platform is also well-positioned to expand beyond OCD into additional areas of the behavioral space allowing for improved treatment and the ability of clinicians to more effectively serve many more patients. It's why I was eager to be Jason's first investor and to now, supporting this Wefunder effort to see the company continue to improve its platform and expand its subscriber base.
