Internet, Navigation, and Cloud Computing on the Moon!

NAVXCOM: Building the High-Speed Internet, Navigation, and Cloud Backbone for the Moon

Pitch Highlights

  1. NASA-Validated Proof of Concept: Completed proof-of-concept development under NASA's Center Innovation Fund (CIF) program.
  2. Early-Bird Investment Terms: S.A.F.E. offering featuring a $16M Early-Bird Valuation Cap for the first 150,000 invested, stepping up to a 20M Valuation Cap with a 20% discount.
  3. $670 Billion Addressable Market: Targeting the rapidly expanding cislunar and space infrastructure economy, projected to reach up to $1.7T by 2040.
  4. Proprietary Surface-First Architecture: Delivers high-throughput Gigabit communications, sub-10cm surface positioning/timing, and on-site edge cloud computing tailored to the lunar surface.

The Bottleneck: Satellite Solutions Are Not Enough

As humanity establishes a permanent presence on the Moon through NASA’s Artemis program and commercial endeavors, reliable, high-bandwidth communications and precision navigation are vital.

Relying exclusively on orbital satellites presents severe operational limitations for surface missions:

  1. Line-of-Sight Blockages: Deep lunar craters, polar terrain, and permanently shadowed regions (PSRs) regularly sever satellite communication links.
  2. Severe Bandwidth Limits: Legacy orbital communications restrict missions to limited kilobit-per-second (kbps) transfer rates.
  3. Latency & Compute Lag: Transmitting raw mission data 240,000 miles back to Earth for cloud processing introduces a multi-second delay that hampers real-time autonomous operations.
  4. SWaP Penalties: Requiring every rover, lander, and instrument to carry independent deep-space antennas dramatically degrades Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) budgets.

The Solution: NAVXCOM LunaLink®

NAVXCOM provides a unified, ground-based navigation, communication, and computing architecture engineered for surface operations on the Moon and Mars:

  1. Gigabit Surface Internet: High-speed, local mesh networks providing continuous, low-latency connectivity across landers, habitats, rovers, and astronauts.
  2. Precision Surface PNT: Sub-10 centimeter navigation and positioning accuracy, eliminating drift for autonomous vehicles and lunar EVA exploration.
  3. Lunar Edge Cloud Computing: On-site data storage and AI-powered edge compute that processes telemetry and sensor feeds locally without requiring round-trip Earth transmission.
  4. LunaNet & NASA Standards Compliance: Engineered to seamlessly integrate with NASA's LunaNet framework and international space standards.
  5. Dual Architecture (TerraLink®): Integrated LEO constellation designed to provide Moon-to-Earth data relays while generating near-term Earth-observation and satcom commercial revenue.

Why NAVXCOM? Our Competitive Advantage (USP)

NAVXCOM eliminates the need for mission operators to build proprietary communications hardware, cutting millions of dollars in design overhead and optimizing mission payload capacity:

  1. Integrated Ground Infrastructure: The only ground-first architecture delivering unified data, precision positioning, and edge computing in one system.
  2. SWaP-C Optimization: Eliminates redundant communications subsystems on client rovers, maximizing scientific and commercial payload allocations.
  3. Rapid & Cost-Effective Deployment: Scalable, self-deploying surface nodes engineered for immediate local coverage.
  4. Full Autonomous Mission Support: Powers autonomous landing hazard detection, surface mining navigation, and real-time robotic fleet coordination.

Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Pipeline

NAVXCOM has structured a network of international and aerospace partnerships to support technology readiness, testing, and distribution:

  1. NASA Marshall Space Flight Center: Completed proof-of-concept development under the Center Innovation Fund (CIF) program.
  2. Swedish Space Corporation (SSC): Partnering for ground segment communications infrastructure (MOU in progress).
  3. University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK): Collaborative partner for Space NAVCOM system R&D and specialized testing.
  4. Madari Space: Partnered via MOU for LEO relay architecture.
  5. Poam Electronics: Partnered via MOU for advanced space-grade antenna design.
  6. Guizzo Space: Partnered via MOU for European market penetration and communications tech collaboration.

Use of Funds

Investment Terms & Structure

NAVXCOM is raising capital through a S.A.F.E. (Simple Agreement for Future Equity) to advance toward our functional prototype and position for major upcoming NASA and commercial solicitations.

Target Offering: Up to $1.235M

Early-Bird Valuation Cap: $16,000,000 (Available for the first $150,000 invested)

Standard Valuation Cap (Post-Money): $20,000,000

Discount Rate: 20%

Conversion Mechanism: Upon a qualified future equity financing round, your SAFE converts into preferred shares at either the applicable Valuation Cap or the 20% Discount, whichever grants you more shares per dollar invested.

Conversion Examples

Scenario A (Financing Above the Cap at $40M Valuation):

If an institutional round values NAVXCOM at $40M, early-bird investors convert at the $16M Cap (2.5x share advantage over new investors), and standard investors convert at the $20M Cap (2x share advantage).

Scenario B (Financing Below the Cap at $10M Valuation):

If a subsequent priced round values NAVXCOM at $10M, your investment converts using the 20% Discount, pricing your shares at an effective 8 Million valuation (10M × 0.80 = $8M). You receive 25% more shares for your dollar than new investors participating in that round.
