Great presentation, a lot to like. Could you just explain the licensing a little more - what would stop a pro sports league from licensing with another company in addition to yours? Also, what ensures that the license will stay in place for a while? Do you have to meet certain sales figures for any of the licenses? Totally unrelated: Do you envision the company staying primarily with luggage and closely related products, or do you plan to investigate other licensing opportunities for other products (as your name implies), and if so would you consider investors here as in on that expansion or would you potentially spin off the luggage company? Thanks! (I am in, just deciding how much.)

Great questions. It is possible for another company to obtain licensing rights from one of the leagues. However, it is difficult and costly to do. First, you need to have the relationships or connections to get your foot in the door. Second, the leagues want to protect their brand, so they are selective about the companies they do business with and the number of companies they license to. We have been in the licensing world for many years and we have solid relationships with all the leagues. Third, MOJO is the ONLY company that has the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA, Team USA Olympics, and PGA Tour licenses for bags. Therefore, we can build our brand as the one stop shop for all sports bags. In addition, given that the popularity of certain teams and sports vary by region and season, we can have a program with national retailers.
Over the years, we have built strong relationships with the leagues and renewed all of our licenses at some point. The agreements require minimum annual royalty payments.
At the current time, we plan on staying primarily with backpacks, duffle, luggage, and related products. We recently expanded our product offering to include pet carriers, tool bags, and a signature ladies bag line.
I noticed on the Mojo website that the images are hard to hover over and it feels like the website could use a smoother user interface when evaluating the details and features of your bags. Have you considered leveraging ThreeKit to improve the user shopping experience on the Mojo website? threekit.com/industry/luggage

Wow, thank you for the suggestion Todd! We are constantly trying to improve our website and user experience so we really appreciate your feedback and suggestion. I just took a quick look at threekit. I think allowing our customers to change colors and features (different sports logos) and see how the bag would look in their own space (through augmented reality) would really enhance their shopping experience. I'm excited about what we can do to drive our brand once we complete our fundraising campaign!

Hi Mario, are there numbers you could share for revenue (gross and net) for 2021 so far compared to 2020 and 2019, even if estimates or unaudited? Maybe that good news will provide a boost. Also, given that the amount to be raised is starting to become clear, what is a conservative estimate of runway? Thanks!

Hi Alan, We are up 9% from 2019 numbers already and plan to have a huge 4th quarter.
basically its all about getting inventory for 4th quarter and marketing . We are now launching our PGA Tour bag also so we are very excited.
When I look on Amazon for sports luggage, the company that comes up the most is Denco. And I noticed on many listings for Denco products, the item titles are "Mojo Licensing ...". What is Mojo's connection to Denco? Thank you.

Mario Simonson
President / Founder
MOJO Licensing owns the brand Denco.
I would like to discuss marketing your company. I place advertisers on MNF on ESPN, college football on ESPN, print media in game books distributed at games for pro and college teams, plus tons of other media. Let's talk.

The Northwest Group. Will you start competing with them in large market spaces like Amazon? **EDIT** You are, just found where you mentioned Denco. I also like that you are targeting Luggage. It's a big spend category and lends itself to better-targeted ads on Google/Facebook/Instagram drilled down to travel>sports>specificly liked teams (Facebook pixel is next level using machine learning to target ad spend). Getting your hands on big Alum datasets for NCAA email campaigns would be nice. Influencers and sports teams toting their free gear around probably wouldn't hurt to promote the quality either. For the site Cloudflare CDN, more responsive zoom-in sliders, clean menus and landing pages like thenorthface.com swissgear.com rei.com samsonite.com, and don't forget an awesome Mojo logo! You have incredible hi-res stock photos, but they are not shining through and that might just be a bigcommerce compression problem saving on load times. MLS in the works? I would like to get an Atlanta United perk bag for my brother! Thanks for opening this opportunity up to the public! I am sure you could have gotten private money on better terms, but I am glad I got the chance to invest.

Hi Brandon, thanks for all your comments and ideas! Yes we are looking at the MLS and believe there is a huge market for MLS products. My two step sons play club soccer and are constantly bugging me about getting the MLS license. In fact, they are huge Atlanta United fans as well : ) But right, with the resources and capital we have on hand, we need to grow sales with our existing licenses first. The great news is that we are already seeing a huge uptick in sales from 2020 (when the pandemic shut everything down) and 2019! We really think 4th quarter, our busiest selling season, this year is going to be amazing. Once we have built up our existing brands to a robust level, we definitely plan on looking into the MLS license. Thank you for your investment and we look forward to growing MOJO with our community of investors!
MOJO is poised to be a leader in the field, so I’m curious about what will be done to ensure integrity? The products look great, but they also look fairly easy to counterfeit. What steps are being taken to prevent knock-offs from flooding the market? Thanks for your time!

Mario Simonson
President / Founder
Hello Steven
The leagues take great steps to insure no counterfeit. We are officially licensed merchandise so all our items are labeled with the league holograms and labeling (direct from leagues) to show its official. Licensed products on websites need to be authorized first before we can sell on Fanatics or Amazon and any other retail site.
Thank you

How do we get our perk bag?

Mario Simonson
President / Founder
Hi Kenneth
we will reach out to everyone that invested when the campaign closes and we will get all the perks taken care of immediately. Thank you for your investment
When is the expiration of each license, i.e., NBA, NFL, MLB, and NHL? Further, what are the minimum royalties due each year for each license?

Mario Simonson
President / Founder
Hi Richard, these are great questions. However, these specific details in our licensing agreements are considered confidential by both the leagues and MOJO. I'm sure you can understand why we wouldn't want potential competitors to have this information. But what I can tell you is that we have renewed all of our licenses since our company's inception in 2017. We have a great relationship with the leagues and we have an in-depth knowledge of the sports licensing industry.
