Great questions. It is possible for another company to obtain licensing rights from one of the leagues. However, it is difficult and costly to do. First, you need to have the relationships or connections to get your foot in the door. Second, the leagues want to protect their brand, so they are selective about the companies they do business with and the number of companies they license to. We have been in the licensing world for many years and we have solid relationships with all the leagues. ...

There are companies that have acquired other sports licensing companies to expand their product offering or licensing rights. However, most of these acquisitions were by private companies and sales prices are not publicly disclosed. We are well positioned to grow our sales and then sell to a larger company. What makes us so unique is that we have all the major sports licenses under one company so a larger company could acquire us to obtain all our licenses.

Why did you go overseas to have the product made?

We do make certain bags in the US. However, the large retailers and customers dictate the price they are willing to pay. So we are trying to show different price points and work on trying to grow our US manufacturing. We do make product in free trade countries like Cambodia.
