Memo

Ithos Wellness exists to remove the real and perceived barriers that prevent veterans and first responders from accessing mental health care.

Across healthcare, I’ve seen a consistent failure pattern. People who genuinely need support struggle to access it, are matched to the wrong providers, or disengage entirely after a single bad experience. For veterans and first responders, distrust of impersonal systems and lack of cultural alignment makes this problem even worse.

Ithos addresses this through North, our AI-powered mental wellness platform. North provides immediate, private, daily support through guided journaling, habit tools, and tactical resources, while creating a trusted, compatibility-based path to care when a user is ready. We are not replacing clinicians. We are fixing the access, alignment, and continuity problems that undermine care before and between sessions.

The platform is built around a therapist-aligned model that prioritizes fit over volume. This improves outcomes for users and reduces churn and failed referrals for clinicians. Ithos is designed to support real care delivery, not compete with it.

I built Ithos based on lived experience as a Marine Corps veteran and former first responder, and operational experience leading teams in finance, healthcare, and telehealth. The company is guided by clinical and legal advisors to ensure ethical alignment, trust, and long-term sustainability.
