Invention Story:

In 2021, after losing several family members—including my father—to COVID-19, I was compelled to reevaluate my priorities and dedicate myself to what mattered most. The experience was a stark reminder that life is fleeting, and it motivated me to pursue my long-standing passion for the environment, which had originally drawn me into engineering and renewable energy innovation.

My early career was spent developing renewable energy projects, from hydroelectric generation in Big Creek, California, to renewable systems on Catalina Island. While these efforts were meaningful, I realized their environmental impact was limited in scale. My perspective shifted dramatically during my time at Tesla, where I contributed to the Cybertruck project and the development of the 4680 battery. Witnessing Tesla’s transformative influence on the automotive industry showed me what exponential impact looked like.

One day, while sketching ideas at a coffee shop in Santa Monica, I revisited a patented interior design I had recently developed. Inspired by the efficiency of a beehive, the design maximized usable space while minimizing material use. It struck me that this concept was ideally suited for aircraft, where weight reduction is critical. I refined the idea with my engineering expertise and quickly realized its potential.

The very next day, I returned to my warehouse office and built a proof-of-concept. It worked exactly as envisioned. That moment marked the beginning of a new chapter. Over the following years, my team and I developed a full-scale electric aircraft, which we launched at CES in January 2025. The vehicle received the CES Innovation Award for vehicle tech and advanced mobility, and we secured numerous patents.

The only Scalable Flying Vehicles:

Our innovation spans vehicle design, battery, and motor technology. By integrating enclosed, soundproofed motors-eliminating exposed propellers-we’ve solved the scalability challenge facing flying vehicles. Passengers enjoy safe, quiet rides, and our vehicle uses standard Level 3 EV chargers, with the ability to take off and land vertically or on streets. Invo Station is the only flying vehicle designed for true scalability.

Safety:

Our vehicle is equipped with redundant autonomous and control systems for maximum safety. With 12 internal motors, it ensures a smooth ride and can safely take off or land even if only 4 motors are operational. The enclosed motor design protects against birds and external objects, making our vehicle one of the safest flying options available.

Product:

All our vehicles are made in the US, with production and assembly in Southern California and engineering based in San Francisco. We’ve designed three models: luxury, family, and economy. The luxury model is currently in production, and we sell directly to customers through a direct distribution model.
