Over a decade ago, Valiencia Allen self-funded and self-produced - Honey's Handmade,Corp. natural haircare products after being fueled by her ongoing battle with stage IV endometriosis, she embarked on a mission to create safe and effective haircare products.
Honey’s Handmade, Curates natural plant-based hair and skincare products. Our products are multicultural and extremely diverse. We cater to every hair type – kinky, curly, afro and straight. Our products work well on natural hair, texturized and permed/colored hair. The brand is specifically designed for any consumer that desires a natural toxin-free wholesome ingredient filled product. We are known best for our deep conditioners/mask. Valiencia is known in the natural community as the Queen of Deep Conditioning, and she will nourish your hair and coils with products that supply you with simple ingredients yet very effective.
What sets us apart? It’s our Valiencia's originality. She creates every recipe, and then she physically curates the recipe in her warehouse facility on sunny south Florida.
Valiencia, started the brand in her two-bedroom Condo living room while working and attending school all while raising her son. She then sold that Condo as she quickly outgrew the living space where they lived on top of shelves. FastForward to her townhome that had more space and a garage where Honey's Handmade would now be produced at a larger scale. The garage listed all of two calendar years and slowly but surely, she realized that a facility was needed with real staff. She could no longer manage in-between multiple hospital admissions for Endo Flares and Surgeries she had to build trust if she wanted to keep the brand going. She made a decision to step out on faith and now onward to an actual warehouse space to create clean beauty. We never outsource any portion of production. We have owned the entire process from product creation/testing – production and packaging.
