Our Team

Entrepreneur since I was 22. Teaching is my passion. Previously, founder of Genie Latam. As consultant, I have helped +3000 startups and companies in Latin America. I believe in the power of mentoring to grow startups and scaleups. Smiling.

We have served as consultants for +10 yr. We know the impact that mentoring has for emerging-countries-SME’s, where less than 5% can access an accelerator program or quality mentors.

We want to multiply our impact for helping millions of emerging-countries-SME’s to accelerate their growth, and millions of mentors to improve their quality of life.

Grovity story

This all started 10 years ago. I'm entrepreneur since I was 22, when I founded Genie Latam, an Innovation Consulting firm. Today, Genie is a top 5 Colombian innovation firm. Along the way, I teamed up with two wonderful partners: first Alejandro and Claudia later.

In 2017, my partners and I decided on a new challenge. We decided to start a new project that could scale using technology. So we named Alejandro as the CEO and I became the Chief Business Development Officer.

Inspiration came by accident. At the beginning of 2018, a client asked us for a proposal to mentor 60 entrepreneurs individually, for 3 months. The budget: $ 2,500 USD + Taxes.

It was impossible to do it. So we decided to gather groups of entrepreneurs and give each entrepreneur 8-10 minutes of mentoring. The cost was only half the budget. Surprise came later. After 2 mentoring, some entrepreneurs had made new contacts. After 3 mentoring, some of them had achieved new sales or distribution in new cities. After 4, average sales had increased + 60%.

We discovered that startups, scaleups and SMEs in countries like Colombia reach great milestones when they have the guidance of a mentor. But a huge percentage of them have never accessed one.

So we decided to change it.

Today, I'm in Bay area for making real this dream with my team supporting straight from Colombia. Currently, we are incorporating Grovity in US and adventure is just beginning.

In 5 years, Grovity will be the largest digital accelerator for emerging markets. Do you join us?
