What is the early bird discount? It isn't visible in "red" as it usually is on Wefunder. Is the early bird valuation cap 8.5 million? If so, when does the early bird discount end, and what will the cap go up to?

The early bird discount is a $7.5M valuation cap. It is for the first $600,000 of investment and is closing fast! The note then goes up to a $8.5M valuation cap. Still a good deal in my opinion!

Would solar rechargeable batteries be in future designs so they last longer than 5 years, or are there other degradations to the sensors driving the replacement needs?

unfortunately, the 5 year battery life limitation is with the underground unit, so solar and rechargeable batteries are not an option. But we may have future versions of the pro if that will extend the battery life of the underground unit to 7-10 years through other means, which is really the limitation of the battery technology.
