FIRSTHAND is in the ‘testing the waters’ phase of development where we evaluate the public’s interest in such an initiative to directly support whistleblowers throughout and after the process of coming forward. 

'Testing the waters' phase under SEC regulation crowdfunding lets founders gauge investor interest prior to completing legal compliance work. We are able to launch a pitch, spread the word and enable people to reserve non-binding spots. We will only be moving forward with the enterprise if we feel there’s sufficient public interest to give the project the resources it deserves. You have no commitment to follow through with your reservation.  The legal structure of the company is TBD based on community and advisor feedback.

The purpose of FIRSTHAND is to provide an accessible, lawful and financially sustainable vehicle for whistleblowers to turn to when facing the decision of a lifetime; to come forward. We will invest our resources towards employing these individuals to pursue their dreams and deep expertise.
