Rebuild. Restore. Reclaim. ReLeaf.

If you own your home, or any property at all, you've probably thought about getting solar to save on electricity costs or just to be a good citizen. If you're like 5 million Americans, you will need a new roof in the next year. Why not do both at once?

Fires, storms, insurers denying claims, stringent building codes - it seems impossible for the average homeowner to catch a break, let alone build wealth for future generations.

Trained members of the Energy ReLeaf Cooperative can install our UL listed, fully-tested-in-the-real-world, quality product for about half the cost of the solar alternatives. Solar shingles are preferred by most people over the look of traditional boxy looking solar panels.

Easy to install Building Integrated Photovoltaic technology expands the market for roofing AND solar by between $15B and $35B a year.

One crew of mostly roofers can install our system in about the time it takes for a traditional asphalt roof AND it will last at least twice as long while eliminating asphalt from the waste stream (our product is 100% recyclable). With our new patent pending technology, you don't even need to wait for the utility to approve an interconnection agreement before your new roof starts paying you!

We've boiled the function of dozens of inventory units needed for conventional asphalt roof rack-mounted solar down to 4 key components. An electrician is really only needed for the micro-grid interface device (4), depending on how your permitting authority defines electrical work.

This simplicity 1.) slashes the cost of supply chain overhead and management 2.) speeds the installation on the roof while making it safer 3.) allows 100% of our product to be manufactured in the USA, most of it by contract manufacturers in your community 4.) minimizes shipping costs and eliminates construction waste from the job-site.

These benefits all get passed onto the homeowner while empowering local, trusted owner-operator roofing contractors to earn more revenue by installing higher value products.

Solar roofing is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of well over 15% for the next decade. Our solar shingle system is an opportunity for homeowners to build value affordably while our cooperative members are incentivized to build wealth installing our product.

As an early investor through WeFunder, your return will be 2.5X as you get repaid through your share of our revenues. You also have access to perks later investors just won't have. Our earliest supporters on WeFunder have secured 2.75X return through similar revenue sharing terms. Pre-seed round (now closed) supporters got solar shingles for pennies on the dollar!

Our priced round in 2027 will give you the option of spinning off some of our technology for M&A and royalties from others in the solar roof space or becoming a member of the cooperative for 15% ROE year over year for the long term.

We know our contractor members can easily install at least 5 systems per year because that's what we did in our first year installing solar roofs - a much more cumbersome system than ours and with far less support from the manufacturer than we provide.

Our founding team has decades of experience in the four corners of the foundation needed for our success: solar, roofing, training, and member outreach/sales. We have a deep bench of advisors and board members across the country with relevant accomplishments.

The world changes faster and faster each day. Our DNA is wired to change with it and drive that change for the better.

In addition to our patent, trade secret, and contract manufacturing moats we are simply built differently than our competition. As a cooperative with identically trained members, we will stand behind our systems even if the original installer leaves the trades. The materials we use are 100% recyclable with high post-consumer content. Our most direct competition is built for the 80% of roofs that are disposable asphalt composite - they own 60%+ of that market. Premium, luxury solar roofs are metal-based and priced out of reach for all but the wealthiest early adopters.

We are a lean start-up and will keep it lean. Our core competencies are in R&D and in training. Our members' core competencies are on the roof and selling home improvements. By keeping our scope narrow, we are infinitely scalable to the 100,000 building contractors nationwide trusted locally to replace roofs and build new homes.

Just as our business model and member base is diverse, our financial strength comes through diversity. We've boot-strapped acquisition of 2MW (200 roofs) of solar shingles for resale and production of prototypes. None of our many Pre-Seed funders (other than our founders) have put in more than $10,000 each. This means we have no crushing debt, no financial entities pulling our strings. Our strategy of inclusion guarantees that no one person bears all the risk and/or reaps all the reward and profit.

Our patented product is solving a real problem for homeowners and we know how to execute rollout with our team and our strategic relationships as proven by early revenue and traction. By using tried and true start-up valuation models (Berkus, Scorecard, Risk Factor), we've determined we have a pre-investment value of $3.3M. This rapidly increases to over $6M with every new member and crowd-funded investment we get because it enables us to quickly scale beyond our current markets in MN, CO, and WI to CA, NY, and TX.

Appendix A1 is an early iteration of our whole product concept. We're keeping the details of our December 2025 release under wraps until we finish navigating the patent examination process.

These are a few of the Dow Powerhouse 3.0 projects members of our team installed over the years. Energy ReLeaf is currently the exclusive provider of this already UL-listed quality product. We have 2MW of inventory we are using to cash flow development of our own 100% unique product. This is a tactical short-term revenue generation approach enabling us to launch into new markets and train installers without first needing to spend millions and millions in product development.

We are the only solar shingle system that requires no electrician on the roof (touch safe, zero voltage until start-up by electrician at ground level), no interconnection agreement with the utility (eliminating months of foot-dragging), and no management of pallets and other construction waste (delivery is via Energy ReLeaf proprietary zero-waste trailer system pulled by EV trucks).

Complexity and feature bloat is the key reason why solar, especially BIPV, is not accessible to more than wealthy early adopters, no matter what the sales or financing scheme.

Timeline for exit is dependent on scale and timing of revenue growth as well as investor appetite for risk. A solid 15% ROE every year as an investor member of the cooperative is better than average stock market gains but those investors with greater risk tolerance may decide to work with us on preparing the WeFunder Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for M&A or IPO in 3 to 5 years,

Most of our revenue will come through sales by members of our cooperative but our competitors my find benefit in some of our technology. We may also have customers approach us who have no contractor in their area willing or qualified to become an Energy ReLeaf Cooperative member.

Rather than fight nature as much of traditional engineering ends up doing, we model energy flows, not just of the sun but of the heat and air flow in buildings and behind the solar modules. We've designed our products for maximum safety and ergonomics in installation and our supply chain for upcycling and closed loop zero waste. Our business is not designed for one winner to take everything but for symbiosis as in nature or a well-tended garden.

The web of commerce is very complex so we have made a conscious decision to only focus on managing what we are best at and empower the others in our orbit to the best of their abilities.

Every day we add more to the team who understand and want to help with the Energy ReLeaf vision for the built environment.

Missing from this not-that-old Traction slide is our revenue, acquisition of 2MW of solar shingles, our training of installers, and conclusion of a successful Pre-Seed funding round.
