Why I Built EliteCare

I have spent over ten years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist working inside UAE hospitals — in the ICU, at the bedside, managing ventilators for patients fighting for their lives. I know what it takes to keep those patients stable. And I know exactly what happens when they go home.

They fall through a gap.

In Dubai right now — one of the wealthiest, most medically advanced cities on earth — there is no specialist home care service for complex respiratory patients. Patients leave the ICU on ventilators, recovering from strokes, living with COPD or ALS or neuromuscular disease, and the specialist care that kept them alive in the hospital simply disappears. General home nurses cannot manage ventilators. They cannot clear a blocked airway. They cannot detect the early signs of respiratory failure. So patients deteriorate. They return to the emergency department. Preventable. Repeatedly.

I watched this happen, over and over, for more than a decade. I kept looking for a company that was solving this. A specialist service that would follow these patients home and give them — and their exhausted families — the clinical support they needed.

I could not find it. So I built it.
