What makes ecosave better than a mesh screen?

Our ESTCORE tm technology processes the water and contaminants removing Oil and other Hydrocarbons along with Sulfates, Sulfites and heavy metals. Contaminated water that is processed on our First Response Boat onboards at 400,000 parts per million oil and water is returned directly to the Ocean at a safe 3 parts oil per million, way below the EPA required minimum or 150 ppm. The oil retained is still a usable and sellable product eliminating all hazardous material disposal.

This is cool - what a lot of folks don't realize is the oceans are the biggest carbon sink, more than trees - clean oceans mean preserving that carbon sink which is crucial when it comes to climate change management.

One factor that can play a major role is the handicapping of evaporation caused by just a small amount of hydrocarbon sitting on top of the water. Evaporation cools the Ocean. Any reduction in evaporation will lead to the overall warming of our Oceans.

Soooo on the First Resonse Boat we process 3,900 gallons an hour. That's with our one prototype boat with a 5 foot wide belt. As for the Storm Drain Interceptors those are custom designed based upon the flow volume they will need to normally process.
