That's a great question, Ron! Our goal is to be acquired in the next 3-7 years. Crowdrise, YouCaring and JustGiving are all examples of substantial acquisitions that have happened in this space in the last few years. Great question, Barnaby! I'm a big fan of Kiva and greatly admire their work. There are many small differences, but there are two big ones. 1. Immediacy/urgency. When you make a loan on Kiva, you are often doing so retroactively. In other words, the recipient already received the loan and you are reimbursing Kiva for it.
