This is super exciting! Cinema is going through such a transformational process. I'm curious how the strikes relate to the themes of the film — it seems very relevant!

Hi! Thanks for your support of the project. Concessions discusses a transition in this industry and the way in which we consume stories, which certainly seems to be at the center of these union strikes. While Concessions has a lot of nostalgia for the pre-streaming era, we're hopeful for the future of independent cinema and theatrical exhibition and the movie reflects that optimism.

Loved the short film and can't wait to see this! Will the feature use the same cast/storyline as the short?

Thank you! Not quite. While the short was a two-hander, set almost entirely behind the concessions stand with our two leads Hunter & Lorenzo, the feature is a sprawling ensemble piece with over ten principle characters. While Hunter & Lorenzo are still the heart of the film, the feature weaves together dozens of fun and exciting vignettes/stories that all happen on the last day at the theater. Super cool! What are you most excited about for this film?

Thanks! I'm most excited to be working with our excellent ensemble cast. We have a great cast with both veteran names and standout newcomers that I'm excited to put to film. Also, shooting on film at a 99 year old theater isn't too bad either!

Seems like overview says 115% and then 50% share of gross, Investment terms say 115% and 15% share of gross, which will it be?

Happy to answer! After 115% in revenue, it's a 50/50 split with creative from there on out. Investors on Wefunder join the pool of previous investors on equal terms. Since we're only raising the remaining 30% of our total budget on Wefunder, half of that is where the 15% comes from. If you were to invest, your return waterfall would be 115% of revenue, plus an amount proportional to your contribution towards the total raise, split 50/50. Hope this helps!
