Founder's Memo: Why I'm Building Compute Portal

Dear Investor,

Compute Portal exists because the way developers access compute today is fundamentally broken. Traditional providers force teams to juggle multiple accounts, contracts, dashboards, and billing systems just to stitch together the capacity they need.

In AI, blockchain, and high-performance workloads, this creates friction where there should be speed. Small and mid-sized teams feel this most: they either overpay large cloud providers or waste time hunting for niche operators and negotiating one-off deals.

Compute Portal is building a different model. Instead of one account per provider, we are creating one user account that can access potentially all resource providers on the network, from independent operators to larger infrastructure players. Current providers lock you into their ecosystem; we aggregate many under a single, unified access layer. This is the core shift: from “many portals, many silos” to one portal, many providers.

For hardware owners and operators, this means:

  1. A simple way to onboard and monetize idle or underutilized compute.
  2. Immediate access to a broader pool of demand without building their own sales and billing stack.

For developers and AI/ML teams, this means:

  1. One login, one interface, and one billing relationship to reach a wide range of GPUs and CPUs.
  2. Flexibility to route workloads across different providers without constantly switching platforms or redoing integrations.

My background in decentralized infrastructure, crypto, and hands-on hardware operations has shown me both the inefficiencies and the opportunity. I’ve seen what happens when small operators are connected by the right marketplace mechanics and when developers can tap into a network instead of a single vendor.

This raise will help us:

  1. Deepen the marketplace: onboard more providers and expand the variety of hardware available.
  2. Improve the routing and matching engine that connects workloads with the best-fit resources.
  3. Build out the integrations that make Compute Portal a natural extension of existing AI and dev tooling.

I’m fully committed—personally, financially, and professionally—to making Compute Portal the default way emerging teams access compute. If you believe the future of infrastructure should be more open, more efficient, and less siloed, I invite you to own a piece of this with me.

Thank you for considering joining our journey.
