You are quite correct that mean blood glucose alone is not a good metric for control, which is why we typically use two co-primary outcomes in our studies: mean blood glucose AND time spent below 60 mg/dl. The offering by Beta Bionics is not done through a single-purpose vehicle (SPV), where a group of investors pool their capital in a fund, which in turn, invests the pooled capital as one entity in the startup company. Although the WeFund platform allows investment through an SPV, our offering is set up as a direct investment in Beta Bionics.
