Good question Andrew, we are raising this crowdfunding in conjunction with private funding to get our first validation prototypes built. After those vehicles are well underway we will begin raising limited production funding which will likely be in the $20m range. Congrats on the Model 3 purchase. I hope you are having fun with it. What we are really aspire to do is to make as big an impact on transportation energy use as possible. Making the most efficient vehicles possible is our first step but we certainly must get them out in to the world to do more. I think we could do limited numbers with a $100k sticker price but we think that, with the fuel savings calculated in, consumer would be most interest in our first vehicles at a $34 to $60k price point...

Just wonder if your manufacturing and production plan is already set up or ready to go, including suppliers or subcontracts, etc.

While we have a production plan in place it does not include some key items and will require a lot of refinement as we get closer to production. Suppliers, contractors, space and equipment are all being evaluated as we progress.

We put in solar with battery backup in 2003 and was on the early list for the original Aptera 2e. When that didn't happen I went with a LEAF when it came out in 2011 and put 90,000 miles on it before trading it in for a Tesla model 3 in 2018. I am never, EVER, going back to fossil fuels. There is no need. When I heard that Aptera was back, with a big battery, and solar panels so it might not even have to be plugged in... I was IN! Aptera will change the minds of so many people that I had to be an investor to help them on their journey to getting game-changing cars into the exploding EV market.
