Queenly is an online marketplace for women to be able to buy & sell any formalwear fashion for all the important moments in their lives. At Queenly, we believe every woman deserves to feel like royalty. We empower women to buy and sell formalwear, giving each dress a second chance to shine while also making it accessible to all. Our innovative approach combines cutting-edge AI-driven technology with a passion for sustainability and inclusivity, offering a unique platform that resonates with today's conscious consumers.

We have two main products: 1) our consumer-facing marketplace that helps our everyday resellers and retail partners with buying & selling formalwear by providing smart commerce-enablement and real-time data analytics, 2) our AI virtual try-on API w/ SDK integration kit that we sell to mid-market to enterprise companies that sell any kind of garment.

Our business model is like most other marketplaces (e.g. Poshmark, eBay, StockX): we take a 20% commission on every transaction. This means that our sellers receive 80% of their earnings and they never have to worry about shipping labels, fraud, transaction fees, or marketing.

Our team has experience working at companies such as Pinterest, Uber, Poshmark, Meta, Google, and more. Our main advisor is Julie Wainwright, who founded the leading luxury consignment platform, The RealReal. She's been our guiding light and our guardian angel whenever the going gets tough and we've been able to lean on her throughout our journey.

With funding from this round, we plan to:

Expand globally: Queenly is currently live in the US, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Guam. We plan to continue expanding to other regions of the world in the near future in order to democratize the global formalwear space.

Scale our organic growth: Our AI virtual try-on tool bridges the gap between the in-person fitting room experience and online shopping. Launched earlier this year, it currently drives over 60% of all final purchasing decisions and the majority of Queenly’s organic growth. We plan to scale this tool to accelerate our growth and to ensure that people of ALL body types, dress sizes, and skin colors can use it to find the perfect dress for their body.

Grow Queenly Partners: Queenly Partners is a program for retailers, designers, and small businesses to expand their customer base on Queenly. We’ve built an inventory management system, daily sales tracker, analytics tool, marketing tools to boost their listings, and more. By revolutionizing an industry that has traditionally been old-school and offline, we're able to increase our dress supply to our active customers.
