In fact, our model makes more sense for rural areas than other solutions because you can deploy lower cost Medical Assistants (we call them Onsite Care Coordinators) to do all the travel, which in rural areas can be considerable. Sending a high-cost doctor drives up cost to the point where a Medicare/aid reimbursement wouldn't cover it. We can either send our own Onsite Care Coordinators, or train local people in the area to become Onsite Care Coordinators, a process that takes about a week. For rural healthcare systems who have a network of these people, using our technology and training their staff makes a lot of sense. 2) ZiphyKits are equipped with their own high-speed WiFi in case the patient doesn't have access. 3) Our focus is mostly primary care and ongoing care for chronic conditions like diabetes and congestive heart failure. We coordinate with specialists and their offices as patient needs dictate. 4) Our physicians are mostly locums supplied by a reliable HR resource we have a relationship with. Physicians can be part of ZiphyCare Medical PC or can be employed by another entity, depending on the use case. In the majority of cases in our early operating years, the physicians will be employees or 1099 contractors of ZiphyCare Medical PC. 5) We absolutely plan to scale beyond NY. ZiphyCare Medical PC is currently operational in NY, NJ, and being established in Florida. The experts on our team have extensive background in this process, but slower cash flow decreases working capital for immediate growth needs. This problem eases substantially with scale. C.
