He is a past chairman of the IEEE1625 Battery Standard.The company is based in the emerging EV tech hub, Austin Texas where Tesla, Hyliion and Ayro are located.    - Thanks for reaching out to us Frances. We have an internal strategy around our campaign that has kept the campaign in private mode for an extended period of time. Nothing changes regarding your investment, but we will notify you once we do launch live.
5. **Will it be street legal?**
   - Hi Pam. No, the Grunt and all of the Volcon vehicles will not be street legal. We are focusing exclusively on the rapidly growing off-road market. Making our vehicles street legal would mean undertaking significant additional cost, work with highway regulatory agencies and additional liability exposure. The most rewarding path for our investors is to focus solely on our leadership in off-road.

- Q: Hi, what are the size (kWh) of the battery packs being used in the Grunt, Stag and Beast? I'm curious what type of range we should expect when driving off-road.
  - A: Sam, we are testing several different battery configurations now, but we are targeting 50-miles with one battery with normal off-road use. The Grunt will be able to carry two hot-swappable batteries which will give it a total range of up to 100 miles. Thanks.
