Blood clots are an area of interest to our team, and we welcome engagement with researchers looking to evaluate the effects of treatment on blood flow and clotting. We have only done Doppler ultrasound testing to evaluate blood flow in one individual thus far, and we saw a significant increase. Those with existing or suspected blood clots should have a physician clear them for treatment, because treatment is a form of exercise that increases blood flow which can impact a clot. Fortunately, we can control all aspects of dosing with our equipment, so it is ideal for doing a deeper dive into studying blood flow effects. As far as heart conditions go, we have had several regular visitors of our research and demonstration office who have had reduced cardiac output. Treatment was kept light initially, and dosing was increased as the care recipients could tolerate. With a regimen of one 10-minute treatment a week, these individuals quickly restored lost strength, began walking more, and had a renewed hope of being able to lead a more active life.
