We are not currently profitable, but a main reason for that is because we are growing. To fund the growth, we are reinvesting as much of our profits as possible. We plan to get to profitability in the next 12 months due in large part from the investments we can make as a result of this Wefunder campaign. Our unit cost right now is 3.26/bag. That is ready to sell from our manufacturer. That cost is one of the costs that will decrease after we close this round primarily because we will be redesigning our packaging. To break it down, currently our packaging consists of a stock bag with a front and back sticker. The total cost is .44 cents per bag, plus our copacker then charges us .03 cents to apply the labels, so we're at .47/bag. After we redesign our bags, we will have printed bags - which is what the larger companies use. The total cost will be roughly .16-.18 cents per bag. Plus, the design we are working on will be much more effective in building our brand and will help distinguish our products when compared to other brands. Another factor that will get us to profitability faster is that we will be releasing new products as a result of this campaign. We have had our customers asking us for new products because of the success they've had with our current lineup. However, we have not been able to bring them to market because we were focusing our limited capital on expanding the distribution of the flagship products that we currently offer.
