It’s an industry built on passion and community. Yet, for decades, it has been fundamentally broken, failing the very people who power it.For Fans, It's a Nightmare: The experience is defined by frustration. You have to contend with rampant fraud from sophisticated counterfeit tickets; in the UK alone, consumers lost $1.66 million in just a six-month period. You race to buy tickets the second they go live, only to see them sell out in minutes to automated bots and reappear on resale sites at double, triple, or even 1000% of the face value. This predatory system alienates true fans and makes live events inaccessible.For Organizers, It's a Losing Battle: Event organizers, from independent venues to global promoters, are losing on all fronts. They are hit with excessive transaction and platform fees that can exceed 14%, siphoning off critical revenue. They lose control of their inventory to bots and scalpers, which damages their brand reputation and their relationship with their audience. They have no way to stop the fraud or control the outrageous prices on the secondary market, losing out on billions in potential resale revenue.\u0026nbsp;This is not just an inefficiency; it's a market failure built on decades-old, centralized technology that is ripe for disruption.\u0026nbsp;The Solution: UTIX - The New Standard for TicketingUTIX is a pioneering e-ticketing platform that leverages the power of blockchain technology to solve these long-standing problems. We have built a secure, transparent, and user-friendly ecosystem that puts the power back into the hands of event organizers and their fans.\u0026nbsp;Our mission is to provide a single, elegant solution that eliminates fraud, controls scalping, and creates a fairer, more efficient market for everyone.\u0026nbsp;How We Do It: Proven, End-to-End TechnologyUTIX is not a concept; it is a fully developed, revenue-generating platform built on a robust blockchain framework that fundamentally changes how tickets are created, sold, and managed.\u0026nbsp;Fraud-Proof Tickets: Every single ticket is minted as a unique, verifiable NFT (Non-Fungible Token) on the blockchain. This gives each ticket a unique digital identity that cannot be duplicated or faked, completely eliminating the risk of counterfeiting and guaranteeing authenticity for every fan at the gate.Total Control Over The Secondary Market: Through the power of smart contracts, event organizers can finally set the rules. They have the power to decide if tickets can be resold and can enforce a maximum resale price, killing price gouging. This allows them to take a percentage of the resale revenue, tapping into a multi-billion dollar market they were previously locked out of.Drastically Lower Fees: By using decentralized technology to eliminate unnecessary intermediaries, we provide our entire suite of services for a maximum transaction fee of just 7.5%—nearly half that of traditional platforms. This means more profit stays in the pockets of the creators.Unmatched Transparency: Every transaction, from the initial sale to the final resale, is recorded on an immutable blockchain ledger. This provides a permanent, fully transparent, and easily auditable trail for all ticket sales.The Platform: A Complete Ticketing EcosystemFor Organizers: A comprehensive SaaS (Software as a Service) platform to create events, manage ticket inventory, customize pricing rules, and access robust analytics and reporting tools to make data-driven decisions. Our platform supports everything from seating charts to recurring events.For Attendees: A seamless user experience with intuitive iOS and Android mobile apps. Fans can easily purchase, manage, and store their tickets, and enter venues with a secure, dynamic QR code that prevents screenshot fraud.For Developers \u0026amp; Large Venues: We offer full API functionality, allowing major venues and promoters to integrate the UTIX system directly into their existing websites and applications for a completely bespoke and branded user experience.\u0026nbsp; Our Traction: Validated, Regulated, and Ready to ScaleWe have already achieved significant milestones that validate our model, technology, and business strategy.Regulatory First-Mover: UTIX is one of the world's first ticketing platforms to be fully regulated by a major financial authority. We are licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) as a Virtual Financial Asset (VFA) issuer, ensuring the highest standards of compliance with both VFA and MICA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulations.Revenue \u0026amp; Global Partnerships: We are a revenue-generating company. We have successfully ticketed major international events like Blockchain Con Colombia and have worked alongside AirBaltic, a leading European airline. We have also established active reseller programs in South America, Australia, and the USA.Established Token Ecosystem: Our utility token (UTIX) is not just a concept; it is actively trading on major global exchanges, including BitMart, Uniswap, and Jupiter. This existing infrastructure is ready to power our upcoming loyalty programs, driving platform adoption.The Team: Led by Industry ExpertsOur vision is being executed by a world-class team of seasoned professionals with deep expertise across technology, finance, and the live events industry.Maxwell Mayhew (Founder): is an expert in finance and e-ticketing. What segment adopts UTIX first and what is the path from that segment to mass adoption? Do organizers come to UTIX because of price, regulation control, fan demand, or something they literally cannot get elsewhere? What happens if Ticketmaster copies 80% of your features, why do you still win? If crypto adoption stalled for 5 years, would UTIX still win? At what valuation do you expect the next priced round, when, and are you building this to sell to a strategic? What exit size would the founders expect/ be happy with? Take your time to answer these questions. UTIX is definitely solving a pressing issue, the only risk to me seems to be execution. So, great questions: 1) Global ticketing volume is roughly $85–100bn annually. Capturing just 0.25–0.5%, for example, is a very large business. Our realistic 5–7 year target is: 0.1–0.3% of global ticket volume OR, 100-300m GMV annually. 2) Initially, crypto conferences (low hanging fruit etc.), tech, business events, independent festivals and venues/EOs who care about data ownership, settlement + control. The pathway to broader adoption would be to - win EOs who care about transparency and control, build operational trust (payments, compliance, reporting), have consumers directly experience passive benefits and then expand once reliability is proven. 3) Short answer, features they can't currently use elsewhere. Settlement is transparent and traceable, EO's own their data, resale rules are enforceable + tickets become programmable assets, not just a QR code or pdf. 4) We expect copycats, for sure. Eventbrite/Ticketmaster have the issue of architecture + incentives. Their models rely on opaque fees + resale leakage. They cannot provide full control without undermining their model + can't retrofit transparency into legacy systems. Ownership, settlement, transparency is our moat. 5) UTIX is built so crypto = infrastructure, not the product. Crypto acceleration will help with wider adoption, but ultimately we're providing the benefits of the blockchain without the complexities. 6) No aims to flip this. Next priced round will be post product maturity, PMF and real GMV. We're building for meaningful scale + we're happy to stay independent if that is the right path. With all and any acquisition there are many layers (teams moving over, equity stakes, stock options) etc but our aim is solely focused right now on delivering a world class, seamless product, scaling and going from there. 7) Execution is obviously a risk to any investment/business - we're obsessive about wiring correctly, EO and consumer feedback. Our entire ethos really is iterate, validate, test, deploy and we'd rather move slowly and be right, than fast and hollow. Appreciate the questions, apologies for my British spelling if you're American, it has confused many over this round!","author_name":"Max Mayhew","votes":3,"created_at":"2026-01-21T21:41:31Z"}]},{"id":320176,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:320176","question":"If I buy a ticket then will be able to resale the ticket?","author_name":"Varun Gupta","votes":2,"created_at":"2025-11-24T23:48:00Z","canonical_url":"https://wefunder.com/utix#question-320176","answers":[{"id":320188,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:320188","answer":"Hey, great question. I am currently in London so apologies for the late response but, in short, yes. If the organiser enables resale, you can list and sell your ticket inside UTIX’s closed-loop marketplace. Rotating QR codes are tied to the current owner, so screenshots do not work. When your ticket sells, ownership updates instantly and your payout is released, with withdrawals in card/fiat or, where eligible, USDC. Tickets are issued as ERC-1155 tokens with EIP-2981 royalties; listings use EIP-712 signed orders and gasless execution via EIP-2771 or ERC-4337. Transfers are restricted to our marketplace smart contract, so tickets cannot move off-platform, with the aim to prevent scalping and to protect buyers, sellers, and organisers.","author_name":"Max Mayhew","votes":1,"created_at":"2025-11-25T10:31:26Z"}]},{"id":314561,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:314561","question":"I want to reduce my investment amount from to USD 5000 (vs reserved amount of 7,500)","author_name":"Matthew Farr","votes":2,"created_at":"2025-09-08T08:54:49Z","canonical_url":"https://wefunder.com/utix#question-314561","answers":[{"id":320189,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:320189","answer":"Hey Matthew, if you email WeFunder support they can assist with this.","author_name":"Max Mayhew","votes":0,"created_at":"2025-11-25T10:32:46Z"}]},{"id":328240,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:328240","question":"Thanks, Max, I appreciate your answer...very helpful. One follow-up (actually two) how are you thinking about capital efficiency relative to specific milestones, eg, if the midpoint raise allows you to continue executing, what are the key milestones (product, GMV, organizer adoption, etc.) that you expect to reach at that level versus the full raise? I ask because from an investor perspective, understanding what level of capital gets the business to a meaningful inflection point is often just as important as the overall vision. It could also keep you all from early and unnecessary dilution, but I'm guessing you've already thought about this. The second question related to Ali’s earlier one - as you scale, how are you thinking about long-term liquidity pathways for investors if the goal is to remain independent? Would you all be open to sales on secondary markets for investors that want out after a higher valuation (or not) is hit? Thanks again, Nick","author_name":"Nick Hunley","votes":1,"created_at":"2026-03-19T16:42:38Z","canonical_url":"https://wefunder.com/utix#question-328240","answers":[{"id":329542,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:329542","answer":"Hey Nick, apologies for the late response, I am not notified of these and have been away for the last week. For us, the midpoint is still enough capital to get to a real inflection point. So, completing the core rebuild, continuing to onboard organisers, putting more live events through the platform, growing GMV through real ticket sales + proving repeat usage/adoption in the US in a focused way. So midpoint capital still gets us to a live, commercially operating business with real traction, just in a more disciplined way. We currently have this in fact, the site is live, and we have been hosting real events, all minted live on the blockchain (gathering feedback on new features etc). The full raise does not change the strategy, it mainly changes the speed + breadth of execution. It allows us to push harder on hiring, outbound sales, partnerships, marketing, brand awareness + broader US expansion. So midpoint gets us to meaningful validation and traction, full raise helps us get there faster and with more momentum.And yes, avoiding early/unnecessary dilution is absolutely part of how we think about it. We are very conscious that more capital only makes sense if it materially improves outcomes or compresses time to scale. Additional cap raises also are a constraint on time and resources we'd ideally like to avoid. On liquidity, our current view is that staying independent long term does not mean investors can never have liquidity. We are not building with the intention of flipping the business, but yes, in principle we would be open to sensible secondary sales further down the line if the business is at the right stage, the valuation is right, and it can be done in an orderly way that does not disrupt the company. Right now though the focus is very much on building value first.So essentially: midpoint = enough to reach real product + commercial inflection. Full raise = same plan just faster execution + a broader expansion. Llonger term, we would be open to structured secondary liquidity if and when the company is mature enough for that to make sense.","author_name":"Max Mayhew","votes":1,"created_at":"2026-03-31T12:35:24Z"}]},{"id":327459,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:327459","question":"Hi Max, I think Ali asked a lot of good questions and thanks for the follow up. One more - if the round closes around the midpoint rather than the full $1.2M, what does the operational roadmap look like for the platform rebuild and US expansion? Thank you.","author_name":"Nick Hunley","votes":1,"created_at":"2026-03-11T16:03:23Z","canonical_url":"https://wefunder.com/utix#question-327459","answers":[{"id":327578,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:327578","answer":"Thanks, that is a very fair question. If the round closes nearer the midpoint rather than the full $1.2M, the operational roadmap remains very much intact. A significant amount of the platform rebuild has already been completed with the capital raised to date, so the business is not in a position where a midpoint close prevents execution. The core product direction stays the same, and the primary focus remains on events, organiser adoption, product refinement, and building commercial traction in the US. The main difference would be on the pace of expansion rather than the viability of the plan itself. With a full raise, we can push harder on marketing, brand awareness, outbound sales, and broader US growth initiatives. At the midpoint, we would take a more disciplined approach to deployment of capital, prioritising the highest-conviction opportunities first and growing in a more deliberate way. So the likely outcome is not a change in strategy; but some increased pacing risk around how quickly we can scale customer acquisition + market penetration. In practical terms, that means growth might be slower than under the fully funded case, simply as we would not be able to apply the same level of force behind marketing and expansion efforts. That said, the rebuild itself is not dependent on reaching the full $1.2M + neither is the ability to continue onboarding and supporting events. The stronger the raise, the faster we can accelerate. If the round lands closer to the midpoint, we continue executing, just with a more selective + measured ramp.","author_name":"Max Mayhew","votes":2,"created_at":"2026-03-12T12:28:43Z"}]},{"id":325550,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:325550","question":"HI, I went to Coindesk and it says the 24 hour volume of your token is $0. We are not spending money to manufacture token trading before the product is live. That is pointless. Launching and promoting a token before revenue and real usage is like trying to IPO before the business is operating, it creates speculation without fundamentals. We also didn’t list 'for hype'. Our token being on exchanges was a regulatory requirement tied to our VFA listing years ago, not a choice to chase early volume. The sequence is straightforward: Launch the ticketing platform and start generating real organiser adoption, ticket volume, and revenue (that goes live next week, you should sign up to the webinar) Introduce the token into the ecosystem as the utility driver exactly as set out in the whitepaper (loyalty and incentives). Then pursue higher tier exchange listings with a proper market maker and genuine two-sided liquidity So in short: CoinDesk shows $0 because there’s been little or no tracked trading in that window, and we have deliberately focused on building the real revenue engine first rather than pushing speculative token volume before the platform is live.","author_name":"Max Mayhew","votes":2,"created_at":"2026-02-20T17:14:46Z"}]},{"id":320369,"entity_id":"wefunder:comment:320369","question":"***HELP ME FUND MY 5-SONG VISUAL ALBUM!*** https://wefunder.com/junine YOUR INVESTMENT WILL GO TOWARD PRODUCTION, MUSIC VIDEOS, PHOTOSHOOTS, AND MARKETING, BRINGING THIS PROJECT TO LIFE! I am currently in London so apologies for the late response but, in short, yes. If the organiser enables resale, you can list and sell your ticket inside UTIX’s closed-loop marketplace. Rotating QR codes are tied to the current owner, so screenshots do not work. When your ticket sells, ownership updates instantly and your payout is released, with withdrawals in card/fiat or, where eligible, USDC. Tickets are issued as ERC-1155 tokens with EIP-2981 royalties; listings use ..."},{"question":"Hello What % of global ticket volume do you realistically believe UTIX can capture in 5–7 years? So, great questions: 1) Global ticketing volume is roughly $85–100bn annually. Capturing just 0.25–0.5%, for example, is a very large business. Our realistic 5–7 year target is: 0.1–0.3% of global ticket volume OR, 100-300m GMV annually. 2) Initially, crypto conferences (low hanging fruit etc.), tech, business e..."},{"question":"HI, I went to Coindesk and it says the 24 hour volume of your token is $0. One more - if the round closes around the midpoint rather than the full $1.2M, what does the operational roadmap look like for the platform rebuild and US expansion? Thank you.","answer":"Thanks, that is a very fair question. If the round closes nearer the midpoint rather than the full $1.2M, the operational roadmap remains very much intact. A significant amount of the platform rebuild has already been completed with the capital raised to date, so the business is not in a position where a midpoint close prevents execution. The core product direction stays the same, and the primary focus remains on events, organiser adoption, product refinement, and building commercial traction..."}]}}}
